We just returned from a wonderful trip. We spent 3 nights at CSR in Cabanas 9B. It was a beautiful resort and we will definitely stay there again! The girls loved the dig site and slide. It was a very relaxing resort. It didn't seem to be so rushed or crowded as other resorts. The only things I didn't care for was trying to get the mug refilled at the Pepper Mkt. because it was a more of a hassle than other food courts, so I filled my mug up at the pool. Also, I worried about my toddler around the lake, because if there is water she is trying to get to it. Other than those minor inconveniences, it was terrific. CSR is a fantastic resort! It seemed more like a deluxe than other moderates we've stayed at. Thanks Buzz for a great website dedicated to CSR!

How did you find the buses, as far as going around the resort to pick everyone up? Did it seem like it took forever to get out of CSR?

We always drive our car everywhere, so I don't know about the bus situation. We were in building 9B in Cabanas so we were right next door to the main building(El Centro) and just across the bridge from the pool. It was a short and pleasant walk.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the resort. I'll be there in 86 more days!!

Also, for your next trip, you can fill you mugs at the little store outside of the Pepper Market to avoid going in.

Thanks for the report!!! :Pinkbounc

I will be there in 10 days.

I originally requested Casitas, looking at pictures and your report I have a change of heart. I tried to call and change my request, but the guy had seen the requset i had put in for the Casitas and told me he couldn't change it. What he did was added notations with my new request. Any suggestions would be helpful. When do they actually asign everyone rooms each day?? Is it first come first serve?? Or do the do it a day before. And if so, should i call again the day before my arrival.

I'm not sure about when they do the requests, but you will really enjoy your stay. It is a great resort.

Buzz- I'll keep that in mind for my next stay.

Can you get a refrigerator at Coronado Springs? I would like to keep milk for cereal in the mornings.

Polkadotminnie- Thank you for posting on your trip to CSR! We are trying the resort out for the first time in June and not many people post about CSR. We have requested Cabanas section as well. Are all of the Cabanas a short walk to either Dig Site or El Centro? Which floor were you on? We have requested 1st floor. How did you like the food at the Pepper Mkt.? Thanks!

Are all of the Cabanas a short walk to either Dig Site or El Centro?
Cabana 9b is close to bus stop #1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge.

Cabana 8a is very close to the Dig Site and bus stop #4 with a short walk to the main building.

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 cabanas above.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop #4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. Casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building.

Which floor were you on? We have requested 1st floor.
The cabanas are only 2 floors and each has at least one elevator.

How did you like the food at the Pepper Mkt.?
We love the Pepper Market.

So glad you and your family had a great time. We are staying for the first time at CSR for my B-day. I can't wait!!:Pinkbounc

We think it's a fun resort. It's the only mod we've tried, and think it compares favorably to the deluxe resorts.:earsboy:

How many levels are the Ranchos buildings? We will visit for the first time in June and would love to get the most out of our visit...the photos of the Ranchos look so laid back and not congested feeling... is it that way in person? We have not requested a particular area but will be traveling with a 4 and a 5 year old...
any suggestions? :):wave2:

I think they are a mixture of 2 and 3 stories. Looks like the 6's are 2 stories and the 7's are 3 stories. Hard to tell completely. look at the pics on my website below.
