My SIL has been to WDW many times in late September, and she has told me that sometimes she encounters lovebugs. I have never been to WDW during September, and we will be there 9/27-10/1. Does anyone know if there are lovebugs out right now? I googled what they are, they just look disgusting. I'm kind of a bug-a-phobe.
TIA!
TIA!
Yes Lovebugs are in the air. I live in MS on the Coast and they are all over the front of my white car. My mother and I are petrified of roaches, and basically anything with more than 4 legs. Lovebugs are like floating knats. They do not bite, they just get on lots of stuff and aggrevate. So they are not gross flying at you bugs they just gently float on the air and settle on things. They are not like flies, mosquitos or moths. I hope this helps you feel a little better, they really are harmless and you shouldn't worry about them. They have not been very bad here this year. Hopefully with the hurricanes they are not as bad in FL either.
I live locally and went out for a time today and encountered about 3 pairs - no biggie. It really is not a problem.
