Love ya, Mean it

Thanks for the update! And thanks to Brother for making you laugh. Will continue good thoughts and prayers to your mother and you as the days go by.

And by the way, why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

Thinking of your mom, brother and you during the day......in my prayers at night. Chin up and keep smiling, Robin.

Glad to hear your mom is at the Beth Israel. It is a very regarded medical facility. I hear they have great nurses to;) I have an Aunt who works on the surgical step down unit. So you may come in contact with her. Her name is Joan she is tiny blonde and very sweet. Maybe the Dis world will get even smaller and you will run into her. Hope all continues to go smoothly! Lauren

So nice to wake up to your wonderful post this morning. I will continue to pray for your mom and your whole family. :)

 Robin.

My FIL just went through gall bladder surgery and even though it was hard on him, he came through it beautifully. He had recently experienced a "mini" stroke and found that his corroted (sp?) artery was 95% blocked. It was a lot to deal with all at once.

It helped to have lots of love and support.

Many good thoughts coming your way....

Thanks for the update, Robin, good to hear the improvement and that things are looking better. Good news. You mom and family will continue to be in my prayers, important they are for sure.

Glad to hear that things are improving with your mom. It's difficult to see them so sick and you feel helpless to do anything. But with her sense of humor she will be on the road to recovery very soon. I am a believer in laughter really is the best medicine.

Wasn't it Dolly Parton in Steele Magnolias that said Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion?

My dad has always wondered the answer to these questions: If a dog's job is to lay around what does he do on his day off? and What is time to a hog? See if Brother can find the answer to these questions for me please.

Praying for you and your family, Wobin. Glad things are looking better for y'all...

It is a testament to you and all of the joy you've brought to people here that when I first saw your post titled "Can Hardly See Through My Tears", I immediately thought they were tears of laughter over something wacky you had done which you just had to share with us. I know we were all saddened to see that was not the case.

Glad to see that seems to be changing and that the tears of laughter are returning. We'll get you through this and have you laughing and smiling again! :D

Oh, that Brother is evil! Now I'll be pondering his deep questions all day.

The speed of dark... that's a biggie. I think the speed of dark is exactly the same as the speed of light- that they're totally intertwined. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :sunny:

I don't know anything about woodchucks. Wouldn't recognize one if he was chucking wood right in my front yard. I will theorize that the amount of wood that a woodchuck could chuck would be in direct relation to the size of said woodchuck and the strength of said woodchuck's jaws (power expressed in psi, perhaps?), as well as the hardness and density of the specific sort of wood that he would be attempting to chuck. Oh- I guess I'd need to know exactly what "chucking" entails, too.

If you can get Brother to elaborate and to define these variables, perhaps we can come up with a formula to express the amount of wood that a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Love ya, Wobin. Mean it.

Im glad to hear she is doing better. Continued prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery

By the way, woodchucks are pretty small - I doubt they could really chuck that much wood unless they spend a lot of time working out so their little arms look like Ahnold's. :p

Chuck Schwartzenegger? :p

Is that an African wood chuck or a European wood chuck?

Robin,

Thanks for the update. It is wonderful that you can find humor in everything. I am like that too and it helps so much when things are really bad. Hope your mom continues on the road to recovery!
