Love the Tower of Vegan Thread, Can Someone PLEASE start a Gluten Free Thread??

I am really in need of some help here...

I LOVE the Tower of Vegan Deliciousness Thread, as I am a vegetarian. I have read all 11 pages of this wonderful thread, and thanks so much for those who started and contributed.

This will be my 17th trip to the World, but a first for me in one area. I recently discovered (in the last month) that I have a serious gluten sensitivity! It's not officially an allergy, as I won't die or go into shock by eating gluten. But the pain in causes me is unbearable!

So!...I know that Disney will make a notation on your table service ticket (my best friend's family just got back, and her fil has a gluten allergy and she took a picture of the ticket that says gluten allergy). She said they were very helpful in making sure her fil made the correct choices for his dietary needs. Also, some restaurants (which I will make note of) made special meals for him, since they knew ahead of time of his dietary issues.

That said, can someone PLEASE start a thread similar to the Vegan one? Or at least point me in the right direction if they know of restaurants with gluten free choices? TIA!

First of all the Tower of Vegan Deliciousness was someone's personal dining reviews a boyfriend and girlfriend or fiance or married couple (Sorry I cant remember your status!) and there trip through disney dining. It was a usual dining report made by one person yet unique as the poster (I think named ehartman!) was vegan!

For gluten free reviews I actually find there are a few on the DISability boards So I'd suggest hopping over there!

The Reviews Board is for personal restaurant reviews, so someone on a gluten free diet may at some point start their own review. If you have questions about where to find gluten-free meals, please post them on the main Restaurant Board.

Thanks so much to "PixieDust". I would not have thought to look for gluten-free info in "disabilities". I have heard only bits and pieces about gluten-free fare at Disney. I was happy to hear that some restaurants have dedicated fryers. Would love for someone to share lots more gluten-free Disney news.

No problem! I went over there when I had an allergy question I got directed over there and they have ALOT of gluten free, peanut allergies and celiac

Yes - the disability board is a wonderful resource. They are so helpful and kind in helping with any kind of special request dining questions. Definately check over there!

We will be doing DxDP gluten free in July. I'll write about it when we get back. DS is very excited about dining choices in Disneyworld.
