Love the Rose & Crown!!!!

We had PS for the R&C for the last night of our honeymoon (this past Sunday) and though we waited a while, they sat us on the water with a perfect view of Illuminations!! And the food was great too!!!!

Glad to here you had a good expience. We have ressies a week from sat. What time was your ressie for? Like everyone that goes there we are hoping to be seated outside. Also, was there anything in particular that you tried and thought was good?

Yes, what time was your ressie for?
I have one for 8pm...hope that's not too late to possibly get an outside seat...that's really my main reason for going there, although I hear the food is really good too! I hope there aren't people camping out by then...maybe I should have shot for 7:15 or 7:30 and dragged my dinner out.

I love the beer sampler. I don't see that very often anymore and I always enjoy the pie sampler.

Our ressie was for 8pm, but we weren't seated until about 8:30. Our meals came during the fireworks, so we nibbled as we watched.

I got an English Rose to drink (very good, and they gave it to me in a glow mug as a honeymoon gift). I also got a salad with mustard vinagrette dressing. Also very good, but had too much dressing, so I'd ask for it on the side next time. Both Mark and I got the fish and chips which were great and very filling. We couldn't even save room for dessert!!

Since we didn't get seated until 8:30 we didn't finish our food until long after Illuminations ended. They didn't rush us at all though, just let us eat at a leisurely pace. It was really nice being able to leave Epcot without all the hoards of people.

We enjoy R&C for lunch as well as dinner. Very pleasant to have lunch on the patio on a beautiful Florida afternoon.

We always seem to get a great server at R&C, too. Fun, friendly and efficient.
