I really enjoyed the Hollywood studios overview as well as the AK. And Not just for Kevin's Maureen O'Sullivan impression. It reminds me of all that I love about those parks.

Good Job again Ladies. Can't wait to hear your 101 segment of Epcot and MK:thumbsup2:cool1::cool1:

Oh and Kevin Now I have to figure out how to make your impression a ringtone.:lmao:

I loved every moment. Teresa I would totally cry too. My kids laugh at me about it.

I have never been able to see one man's dream as the last time I was at the studios, my son was sleeping in his stroller and I couldn't go in and then my dd8 got really sick and we had to leave (it turned out to be strep throat).

I can hardly wait for my next trip I am going to the studios my first day and doing everything I missed.

My first trip to AK was this past November and after hearing their 101 I want to go back again to see things I missed!!!! I got to see One Man's Dream that same trip and LOVED it and I was crying during the movie also.

I can't wait until my next trip to do some of the things I never thought about doing because of their 101's.

I agree with everyone else....love the segments !!!!

I loved them, too! Hoping the Epcot and MK 101 segments will be split into two segments. For Epcot, maybe one segment on Future World and then one on World Showcase? For MK, maybe half the lands in one segment, half in another. Really loving hearing about the parks from an experienced person's perspective, trying to look at it as a new visitor. It helps show why WDW is so great - you can go so many times, and still find new things!

Yes we have already planned on splitting up the next 2 parks. :)

I absolutely love these segments too, & pretty much any report Teresa & Kathy do. It's awesome to hear another perspective. We tend to do the same touring pattern & its great to be reminded of all the different attractions & restaurants. Thank you so much for all your hard work, you guys are very informative & entertaining! :thumbsup2

I always thought One Man's Dream should be required viewing!
Not just because I always cry, but also so that people remember....Walt Disney isn't just the name of a theme park or company....but was an amazing man with amazing perseverance.

Great segments, Ladies but I had to post and give Pete a bit of a hard time here. If he wants you to do the segment he needs to let you do it... The first ten minutes of "DHS 101" were so full of Pete disagreeing and expressing his dislike for the place that I had to turn it off.

I know there are good and bad parts to the park, but on this segment I was looking forward to hearing the ladies' own special perspective. Pete you could always do a "Ten things I hate about DHS" segment yourself (crowds, outdated rides, etc.) as a rebuttal on a different show.

Just my two cents - thanks for the chance to share and I hope this doesn't bring on a rant.:scared:

Great job!
I'm surprised she didn't to mention "Mulch, Sweat and Shears"

Count me as one of the fans of Teresa and Kathy's segments!

I have to admit I've found Pete/John/Kevin's reviews to be rather negative lately. I know this is one of the things that makes the Podcast great....difference viewpoints, but the fellows have been very hard on anything related to the parks this year.

I like hearing about ABD and the cruises, but most of us will never have the opportunity to enjoy ABD. I know that they have been invited by Disney to these events. They used to disclose that they were being treated by Disney or by the perk of organizing a tour. I wish they did that now. I know it's just hard to be critical of a generous host. Pete used to point out how they did things independent of Disney. I don't think they do that much now.

It's nice to have the Martins, Kathy, and Teresa to round out the team. While I'm the biggest Kevin food review fan EVER, I wish the Martins, K, and T would do more family w/children food reviews.

I agree, and I go often with friends that work at the parks. The general feeling is that working there can drain your pixie dust, and going to One Man's Dream helps you remember why you wanted to work there in the first place. You leave inspired and your next shift at work is so much better.

Other then the trip to Italy at Christmas, which was offered to us (and other travel agents) by ABD (and we said that).....all of our trips are paid by us.

We were invited to the christening of the Fantasy in NYC and we were invited to the actual party, but every single cost from hotel, to flights, to food, to transportation was paid by us.

With the Podcast Cruises coming up....every single stateroom being used by a Dis employee or a Dreams Unlimited employee is paid by us.

We have three ABD trips this year....all of which will be paid by us, including airfare.

Our recent three night cruise on the Fantasy was part of Disney's Earmarked Travel Agent Conference and the entire ship was travel agents and media. I believe this was also disclosed

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but when the facts are wrong....it needs to be addressed.

I really appreciate the reviews, positive or negative -I feel they are honest which is what I am looking for. Disney is such a massive, constantly changing entity & my visits are so sporadic I can't keep up with it all. Podcast reviews are my heads-up, at least I know what I might get before I go. Thanks Podcast Crew, please keep the reviews coming! :thumbsup2

That was my favorite part of the segment. Maybe because I share the sentiments (and I haven't heard the rest yet).

Kevin and John's reviews are the part of the show I look forward to the most. I completely agree with their viewpoint for the restaurants they've frequented for the most part...except Ohana. But I love hearing their perspective on dining in Disney World.

The 101 segments Theresa and Kathy are now running neck-in-neck for my favorite segments. We generally have NOT had good experiences at AK and don't usually go anymore. But after hearing their AK 101 segment, we're giving it another go. We ended up adding an extra day to our May trip and figured we should give AK a try since we had more time. I'm actually looking forward to it!

And, I LOVE Pete's rants. DHS used to be my 2nd favorite park after MK, but has fallen to 3rd place in recent years. I just hate what they have done to attractions like Backlot Tour, and the park doesn't feel as "fresh" as it used to. We still love it, and we spend a full day there every trip. But it used to be close to #1 on my list and it is now #3 of 4 parks.

Love the podcast! Oh, and I loved the segment Theresa did a couple of years ago when she had the $2500 budget challenge. I'd like to see something like that again.
