We will be in the world on NFL Conference Championship Sunday. DW is a serious football fan--I am not.

We had planned a day of bus-roulette, ending with a late night at the MK. But, she's just mentioned this conflict and requested a way to watch at least one of the games--likely the AFC game at 3pm.

Since I'm not a fan, I'd rather not end up at the ESPN club with nothing else to do. I could send her off on her own and meet up again later, but, it seems like there may be other options.

We are DVC members, who will be staying on points, so, we are eligible to pool-hop. I.e. she could watch the game and I could swim.

Can anyone tell me which resorts have lounges with TVs that are likely to be tuned to the game? Thanks!

I've watched soccer at Wilderness lodge at the pool bar. I can pretty much guarantee they'd tune in the football game if they have champs league on. Pool bars obviously may not be so great if its rainy, but it may be kind of covered. I like watching it outdoors like that too, nice atmosphere.

Edit: Only been to two resort lounges don't remember seeing a single tv but I was not looking.

Yeah, we were looking at pictures of the pool bars to try to get a clear idea of which ones had tvs.

But, most of them are either one of the smoking areas, or near one of the smoking areas. Since I have asthma, I wouldn't be able to spend any time there with my DW and she might as well be comfy inside the ESPN club.

Can anyone help us out by identifying some indoor lounges that have tvs that might be willing to tune in the games?

Can you remember which lounges these were?

Even negative information will help since it tells us where we shouldn't go.

(Neither of us drinks all that much, there's a tv in the room and the only time we traveled with someone else they had to stay in with an infant at night. So, we've never stopped in any of the lounges. I hadn't even noticed this oversight in our wdw "hit everything once" agenda until the football question came up.)
