Lounge Chairs at Typhoon Lagoon

We are going to be at TL on Wednesday, 5/16 and will be there 1/2 hour before EMH opening at 9:00. There are just two adults going (me and best friend), so if we get two good lounge chairs and put our towels on them, is there a good chance someone could steal them while we're off on the slides or the wave pool? Or does one of us need to guard the chairs? Just trying to figure out the best strategy for not losing our chairs!

We have always locked our valuables and clothing and shoes in the lockers (the key straps fit nicely around the ankle without causing any distraction or irritation) and draped our towels over our chairs and left drink cups, etc, around and have never lost our seats. (And we certainly spend much much more time away from them than with them!!!) We are usually on at our seats when eating or drinking and don't ever elect a guard.

Wish I were going Have FUN!!!!

P.S. typhoon lagoon is the best - the frozen "Typhoon Tillie" is THA BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have never, not once, had anything walk away from our lounge chairs while we're off enjoying the pool and slides. We just lock up our clothes for changing into after (more to keep them dry than anything) and our wallets. We leave our towels, glasses, a book or magazine, sandals, things like that, at our spots. One thing I usually do is bring a rubber band or hair tie to secure one corner of my towel to my chair, just in the odd case that a gust of wind takes it flying.

I'll have to try that frozen Typhoon Tillie. Sounds delicious!
