A couple of times while waiting for our table to be ready at the Flying Fish we have enjoyed a cocktail at the little lounge just upstairs in the Boardwalk Inn. Does anyone remember the name, and is it open to anyone? Thanks!

That would be the Belle Vue lounge. It is a nice quiet little gem of a place and I enjoy stopping by for a quiet drink after a busy day in the parks, too.

It's a nice, quiet place.

Here's how allears.net describes it:

If you're looking to relax after dinner, you might want to stop by the BoardWalk Inn's Belle Vue Lounge, a quiet spot with overstuffed furniture and antique radios playing old-time radio dramas (which also offers a light breakfast in the mornings).

I love this lounge. So quiet and relaxing , we always have a drink here.....oh wait

I HATE This lounge its no good STAY AWAY from it <G>

:thumbsup2

Just yesterday, I was sitting on the patio of the BelleVue Lounge, watching the Boardwalk activities :cloud9:

Then I woke up and it was time to catch Magical Express and return home :teeth:

Great little place, they have a bartender that starts at 5pm. It was a little too cool to relax by the pool y-day, so I found the lounge to wait, because I had a late flight.

This is a great place to go at nite to just relax, have a drink and watch all the sites on the boardwalk. If you are lucky enough to go without the children it is nice to sit and talk about the day or upcoming plans for the rest of your vacation. It is a nice way to destress.
I look forward to going there as often as i can.

Thanks everybody! Can't wait to see it again, just a few more weeks! :cool1:

We loved it, until the noisy crowd from the convention showed up. We just chalked it up to bad timing and look forward to our next visit.

LVSWL,
when are you heading down? your post said a few weeks, so are we. we are taking our cousin and his family, first time for them. i am so excited for his kids. they are 4 adn 8. My 13 yr. old stepson is so excited too. He has not been in a few years and decided to come with us this year.
we will be down there on the 17th til 28th.
cant wait.
are you staying at BWV?

:rolleyes1 :surfweb:

Can anyone tell me what their menu is like? Sometimes, after a "heavy-eating" day, we only want a very light meal (appetizers-sized). Does Belle Vue offer this? I'm ashamed to admit that we've owned at BWV since '98 and we've never been there .
