No. We can't.

Anybody here in a position to know that information with absolute certainty, would pretty much be forbidden to talk about it - because they'd work for Disney.

We can tell you that this is a rumor "Disney bought land in ____(state)___ and is going to build ___(whatever)_______ there" -- has been around for just about every state in the union.

It happens about 12 x a year and most times - it's flat out wrong.

This belongs on the rumors and news board by the way and I'll be moving it there.

There's a thread about it here somehwere. The land supposedly bought by Disney is directly across the road from me abd is being clearcut. It also happens to be land that is owned by weyerhauser. (If you are from the area you might recognize it's previous name. It used to be called *Gaylord land*) IOW: It's TIMBER land. They cut it every 15-20 years or so.

I've no clue how the rumors got started, but they've been flying since at least october. I can think of a million and one reasons to not believe it though...starting with the fact that there are houses ALL AROUND the land in question. Yes, it's a LOT of land...maybe thousands of acres....but it's surrounded by homes, is in the line of fire for the projected *loop*, is so irregularly shaped that you can see houses on the other side of it....it's just narrow strips in SOME places....I could go on for DAYS! LOL!
