Moving to Baton Rouge in mid-August (after a few days in Orlando!!!) to start a new job at LSU!

I grew up next to Audubon Park, graduated from Ben Franklin, got my BA from UNO and my Masters from Tulane. My son was born at East Jeff in Metairie, and I was living in Mandeville when Katrina hit.

Now I'm remarried and living in Maryland, where my husband's career is located. He was in town visiting me, and starting to explore looking for a job down there, when we had to drive him and my son and my car out of there that fateful Sunday! It got very obvious very quickly that he was *not* going to find a comparable job down there. Too bad, we both miss the South like you don't know.
