I had him for Economics and I HATED IT! It's like listening to Ben Stein lecture. He's got such a monotone voice.

Also, Mr. Burroughs was my Fine Arts teacher, AND he's my neighbor!! Such a small world.

Oh that voice that voice!!! I remember it well. I think I would love American History so much more if he had done it in another way. Mostly he read stuff to us and on test day, he gave the same test to all his classes and sat back and read the newspaper. We could pass notes, cheat, talk, etc He was oblivious. Nice man I'm sure but not the best teacher.

Oh I loved Mr B! He was so great and being that he was myband teacher, I spent more time with him than with other teachers. I really felt like he believed in me, ya know? That made him a very special teacher to me. His daughter told me this is his 38th year! Now I am a teacher and I love it but 38 years?? Not sure I could last that long!

Hey, y'all! I'm in Kentwood, but I grew up in Tickfaw (suburb of Hammond ).

Growing up we went every-other-year to WDW and since DH and I have been married we've been in '98, '01, '03, and every year since '04.

We usually go in late May/early June...but last year we went in early May. We will probably go in September this year.

Hi! My sister lives in Prairieville and her husband's family is in Gonzales. They are the deVeer's. Lori owns The Book Rack on Airline near Oak Grove elementary and Rob is a pharmacist in the Walmart in Gonzales. They are Disney nuts too.

Hi Everyone!

I was so excited when I stumbled on this thread.

We are on the westbank of St. Charles Parish. We've been to WDW almost every year, some years twice, since we honeymooned there June 1976. We have 9 nights booked at the Contemporary in a tower theme park view room.

So excited!!! Just finished setting up my countdown clock on the computer.
