loudspeaker noise at pools?

My sister and I were chatting about our upcoming cruise and she warned me that when she went (on another line) she did not enjoy the pool deck.
Her experience was bad because loud announcements continually came over the speakers there to tell everyone of upcoming activities. Between that and being interrupted by servers pushing the drink of the day, she felt the pool deck was not enjoyable for sunning.
Has this been your experience on DCL? I hope not!!

We did not notice either as a problem.
We had out Cruise mugs with us so the alcohol servers passed us by probably figuring we were soda pop drinkers--which we are for the most part.
We were not out all day any day, but did not notice announcements as a problem.
We sunned on deck 10. I wonder if that is perhaps farther from the announcements.
