Loud things

Have you ever had to deal with a really annoying, really loud noise? And whyyyyy do construction workers feel the need to start sooo early????


At 8 this morning, the construction workers accross the street decided it was time to start jackhammering. Its been a half hour, and they're still doing it-my mom says it might last all day!! ARG!!

We added onto our house and the construction went on for a year. Try hearing the loud noises everyday for a year! LOL. We had a huge hole at the end of our house leading to the new addition. The only thing that kept us from the bitter cold air of winter was a sheet of canvas and some plastic stappled to our kitchen floor! LOL. We would wake up to the sounds of saws, hammering, yelling, and other construction tools rofl. We would go to sleep to the sounds of the same things. After all those pleasant times and moments, lol, we had our floors done over. We took out the linolium in the kitchen and replaced it with wood and did the floors in our new addition in wood as well. However, have you ever had to sit through the smell and EXTREMELY loud noises of doing that?? It swear it was worse than the construction. A few times I had to leave the house just to get away from it. They polyurethaned the floors and the smell was nose piercing while the sound was ear piercing lol. Oh gosh, how I know all too well what loud noises are like in the morning! rofl. Oh and it also didn't help that they have been building six houses at the end of our VERY short deadend street.

I used to live on this one street where every day, right when it was legal to do, one of our neighbors would be outside mowing the lawn. (the legal time started at like, 6 AM). So every day I would get woken up at 6 in the morning because this idiot just couldn't wait to mow his lawn. And that wasn't the end of it to. Every day he would be out there for hours mowing, trimming, hedging, etc. So yeah, I got hours of hearing the wirring of stupid two stroke engines.

The funny part about it though, was that his lawn didn't even look all that great.

In the summer when we got our roof worked on, it was very loud, I couldnt go outside because they were working and stuff flying everywhere, SO I had to stay inside and hear the noise for 3 weeks...
