Loud music and the neighbors

The neighbors have their kitchen door open and are playing loud music while they sit in their carport. AGAIN. It's the heavy-on-the-bass variety. I don't think this is ever o.k. - it's just plain rude. DH thinks it's o.k. sometimes - like on a Sunday afternoon. What do you think?

Our town too has a code enforcement bureau you can call, but its usually after 11 p.m. so I had to put up with my nice drunk/drug neighbor playing his rap music even at 9 am, sigh, sigh. at least we have central air and can keep the windows closed. It was only a problem when we were outside. He has been pretty quiet lately.

Our neighbors have installed their tv in their carport. They have friends over almost every day and they are loud! It's tough to get the kids to sleep when they can hear the neighbors having so much fun next door.

I can understand some noise every once in a while - like at a party or cookout or something. But every night is ridiculous.

I've been known to crank it up I never do late at night or early in the morning. Neighbors have been cool about it for nearly 20 years.
