In the past!

I think maybe the threat of not being able to trick-or-treat (sniper related) made everyone appreciate it more.

In the 8 years we've lived here, I have never seen so many children (parents walking by their sides) going door to door!

Police cruisers were out, as well as police on bicycles!

All in all, it was one of the better halloweens in my neighborhood!

We had a lot too...only compared to last year though since last year was our first Halloween in the neighborhood we're in. I guess after 9/11 not too many were in the ToT mood. There were swarms of kids out last night though. DD and I walked around the block ToTing and a big mob of kids ended up behind us so I had to speed it up so they didn't pass us and steal all the candy at the houses we hadn't been to yet :)

We had a lot too. DH had made up 75 bags. We went through those and I had to hurry up and make up 5 more.

It was a lot of fun. :D

We had about 400 or so kids here, which is normal for us...We live in the middle of town on the busiest street! :)
