Am planning a girls' night out with DD15 -- Planet Hollywood for late lunch/early dinner and then the 6:00 show of CDS.
1. Did you buy your tickets ahead of time?
2. If so, where did you purchase them and how much did you pay?
3. I have heard that category 2 tickets really do have a great view. Do you agree?
4. Where did you sit and were your seats good?
5. How far in advance should we plan to be at the "big top"?
6. We are thinking we could walk there from Old Key West, if DH and DS are using the car. Is it walkable? Would you recommend taking a resort bus instead?

Thanks for all your help!

1. I bought my tickets ahead of time and it is advised that you do so as it usually sells out. If it's close to your time, you can call ahead and then pick them up at will call.
2. Here's a link to pricing, where to call and other info: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cirque/cirque.htm
3 & 4. All the seats are good. I sat in catigory 2 seats last time and they were great seats!
5. If you're picking up your tickets at will call, I'd get there an hour ahead in case there's a line. If not a half hour or 45 minutes would be good.
6. I think there's a boat to DTD too, or you can walk. Never stayed at OKW.

Good luck! It's a great show!

1. We got ours about 2 1/2 months before the date. We went to pick them up the night before and the man in line ahead of me was having a hard time getting seats for his party together since the show was almost sold out.

2. We used 2 wishes from our silver package, so they cost $68 each. We sat in Category 2 seating I believe. It was Row A (front row) of Section 104. Kelsie at dreamsunlimitedtravel.com took care of actually making the purchase for us.

3. We did have a very good view, although next time I'd prefer to sit further back than the front row just to get a different perspective. But honestly, I think any seat would have had a great view.

4. Section 104, Row A, Seats 6 and 7. Like I said, the seats were very good, but I'd choose to sit a little further away (maybe the last row in Section 104) next time.

5. They start seating 1/2 hour before the show. We got there about 40 minutes before the show and didn't have any problems getting in, buying some snacks, and getting situated. However, it is a pretty healthy walk from the bus stop, so if you're using Disney trnasportation make sure to plan for that.

6. I'm not sure of where Old Key West is in relation to DTD, so can't be of any help there.

WE loved Cirque. Sat in Sec 203, 4 rows back. We were right next to one of the entrances. There were 6 of us, so we had the whole row. Behind our row, the rows ran from aisle to aisle. I don't think there is truly a bad seat. Some are just a little better. I like sitting in the rows right about the main walkway. That way I don't have to look up at the performers, just straight. We bought our tickets about 3 1/2 months before and had them mailed to us. If you are staying at OKW, I would take the boat to DTD. I'm just not sure if it only makes the one stop by the Rainforest Cafe. If so, leave time to walk to the complete other end of DTD to get to Cirque. I would get to the show about 3/4 hr. before. That way you are all settled and you are sure to be there for the preshow stuff. And, don't forget....there is no intermission. Make those potty stops before you sit down for the show!! You don't want to miss any of this show!!! Oh yeah....we bought via the phone and paid about $70 pp.

We're going on February 10th, and our seats are Sec 203, 5 rows back! Glad to hear you enjoyed it, I'm sure we will too! :D (Our seats are right on the aisle as well.)
