Hello! I am not new to the forum but haven't been around for a while! We have just booked to go to Disney for christmas! Ekkkkk! So excited! Our kids are boy 11, boy 8 and girl 4. We were going to stay at Davy Crockett again but decided we would like annual passes as planning a trip for halloween next year and maybe a weekend in the summer too so thought it would be better value for money. We are driving and using eurotunnel.

So yesterday I booked the Magic Circus hotel on the spur of the moment as they were offering a Kids Suite for £450 for 3 nights - 23rd to 26th December. This was a good price compared to some of the other prices I have been quoted and wasn't too keen on having separate rooms.

So these are my questions.....

1. Has anyone stayed at Magic Circus? Especially interested in information on the size of the suite! We have been spoilt with lots of room at Davy Crockett but thought the hotel might be a little bit more luxurious over Xmas. Is it walkable to the parks?

2. We need 5 annual passes, want the Dream as going for halloween and discounts look fab! Bit scary going without any tickets. Is there any chance we won't get in if its at full capacity or something? Is it best to get these on the gates or I have seen some on websites but not sure about risking that much money?

3. Does anyone know what sort of times the park will close on our days? Wondering if it will be open later in Xmas hols? Difficult to book meals as not sure on times of parades, tree lighting , dreams etc. when will these be released?

4. Meals!! So many restaurants.....so little time!
So far we have booked..
23rd - Inventions Sunday Xmas Brunch for 1pm
24th - Auberge for the girls and Plaza GArdens for the boys at 12pm

No idea what to do for Xmas day :confused3
Would anyone recommend the merry Xmas lunch? There does not seen to be any info or a menu available and will cost us £384 :lmao:
So not sure if its worth it! If not where else would you recommend? Want somewhere quite special for Xmas lunch!

Think that's all for now! Thank you sooooo much if you can help with any of these questions! Just want to get it right as its a very special trip for us

The very first Christmas programmes are online now which will give you an idea, they are usually loaded weekly.
The December park hours are online too now I believe!
Can't help with hotel q's or APs I'm afraid...
I'm sure someone else can though!

Have you thought about Walts or Blue Lagoon for meals?

I can't help with all your questions, but no, I'd say the Magic Circus isn't really in walking distance (well it would be about half an hour for your youngest to walk, and legs are tired after being in the parks all day).

The December hours are now published on the offiical DLP site (Carrie_Cat posted a link to it earlier this evening).

The park programme for your time of the year won't be available for your specific dates until a few days before you go, but you should be able to get a rough idea by looking at the park hours from 10th November and the park programme then (as thats the official start of Christmas season this year).

Re Aps I've never known anyone been refused entrance to the park even on days like NYE or the 14th of July when they maybe should as it's so full it's dangereous.

You'd have to work out if it's cheaper for you to buy the AP's at the gate and get a family discount as you are 5 or buy them in advance fom CEM or Promoparcs (both highly reputable companys) and get an immediate reduction plus a free AP for your 4 yr old.

So on a Dream it would be 5*199€ = 995€ - 20% = 796€ on the gate

4*159€ (+ 1 AP free) = 636€ + 20€ (joining fee) + 6.90€ (postage) = 662.90€ from CEM

Re Christmas day - you are best phoning and finding out what is open and who are doing normal meals as it's difficult to recommend somewhere without knowing choice and cost.

My favourite t/s is Walt's but I don't know what they are offering this Christmas day

Hth :goodvibes
