Lots of ADRs for early September

Our trip to Disney is at the beginning of October and because of changing our plans for the free dining plan and the size of our group (10ppl), I've been chasing reservations for the last month. I was playing around on MDE yesterday and noticed that there is a decent amount of ADR availability next week-and that it then it drops off as you go farther out into September. Is this because most schools are just starting back and there was always availability or can we expect that the trend will continue? ie, many people cancelling ADR's in the week prior to their reservation dates. Just curious to see if you guys think that there is hope that I may finally get that Akershus reservation for 10 that I am looking for Or is it that all of the things going on the first week of October will making it hard to get ADRs even as we get close?

Its known to be one of the slowest weeks in WDW. Keep checking. We got all of our ADR's for our Nov trip, after the 180 day mark by continually checking each day. As it gets closer, people will be hitting their 45 days mark when final payment is due and people do cancel and cancel dining. Good luck!
