Last night was the double season finale.

Still belive that the island is pergatory, between heaven/hell and earth, and that's why they should not leave, and why his father is now alive again.

I think they ahve painted themselves into a corner, that the next season has to be about what has happened after being rescued.

I caught that, that Jacks father was alive again, and whose funeral was it? Did you see that ABC have announced that there will only be 48 more epsisodes, in 3 series of 16 episodes. the creators wanted to set a finish time so they could construct the story properly and to give fans an end in sight, apparently their viewing numbers have been down and they want to reward the fans with a finish line so they don't feel they are wasting their time on making an investment in a story that gets more complicated. they have never done this before

In my opinion this was definitely the best series yet. The story progresses considerably and the story lines flow at a nice pace. Definitely get it on DVD if you enjoyed series one and two.

I preferred season 1 to season 2, but will probably still buy this season when it comes out.

I don't think Jack's Dad is alive again (I'm sure the writers have said he was Dead dead!)

I think Jack was just trying to forge prescriptions using his dad's name and then was either so out of it that he didn't remember his dad was dead or trying to say that he wasn't as drunk as his dad used to be.

Having said that I may be wrong

Couldn't figure out who was dead though the coffin seemed quite small and who was Kate rushing back to? In fact why wasn't Kate in prison?!!

Why is Jack so so desperate to get back to the island?

Great TV and will be interested how they go on from here.

I couldn't believe how it ended! I also really want to know who's funeral it was it must have been another of the survivors and how does Mikhael (sp?) keep coming back to life?

I can't say how much "Lost" means to me. I just can't ever remember seeing such an amazing, execptionally well acted film/show. I was crying my eyes out when Charlie died (Mark was laughing at me). The strange thing is I really did not like Charlie's character and had always thought I would be glad when he died but I just felt it was so real.

I too could not understand why Jack believed his father was still alive and also could not work out who had died, and that no one wanted to attend the funeral/viewing.

I think Desmond's character is great and quite like Lock and even Ben's character is great.

I can't imagine Oceananic giving golden tickets to the survivors. Would you really fly with them again!!! but I guess the chances of crashing again would be billions and billions to one.

Any theries as to what will happen next?? Kirsty is desperate to get the Driveshaft tee shirt when we go back to MGM in August as we were in two minds last October and really regret it now. Anyone got any Driveshaft merchandise?

I totally agree Obi, that is why they are not meant to leave the Island. I don't believe that Jack's dad is alive as we didn't see him, and that other doctor looked at Jack like he was losing the plot when Jack told him to call his dad down, also I think Jack was issuing the medication under his dad's name. I think that the funeral could've been for Juliet, as Kate said why would she want to go to it, and I assumed that she was going back to Sawyer, though I have nothing to back that

This series has been brilliant, it was sad to see Charlie die. But I'm really looking forward to seeing what Locke does next in his bid to help Jacob

I think that Ben is a brilliant character - but I can't wait to see him get his come-uppance

remember at the start that the Lost producers put up an Oceanic Airlines web site?
I am SURE that on there it said that Oceanic had gone out of buisness after the crash of the flight???????

That does ring a bell! I hope it's not a mistake but goodness knows how Oceanic recovered. Can't imagine even survivors being found could turn business back on so dramatically but in the LOST Universe who knows
