One of the biggest downers of our trip (we returned to 10th) was my husband losing his walet at Animal Kingdom early in the week. We were pretty sure it fell out of his pocket (new pants, with funny pockets..)
Anyway, we kept checking on it throughout the rest of our trip with no result. Getting on the airplane was a little bit of a hassle, but nothing huge. He canceled his credit cards when we got home, and wrote off the 200 bucks as a loss.
Not 2 hours later, we got a call from Disney, and they had found his wallet. It came in the mail this morning. Apparently someone had picked it up, but not turned it in. They were staying at one of the All Stars (sports, I think) and had left in their room upon checkout. All of the cash was gone, as was DH's monorail drivers license ( so funny
) but the cards, and his real drivers license was still there, so that's a huge hassle he doesn't have to deal with.
I'm just happy they found it, and tracked us down to mail it!

and just forgotten to turn it in. That sounds like something my family would do! But anyway - it's not nearly as bad as it could have been!
