Lost tickets :( I've done something terrible!

We have an upcoming trip in July, our FastPass window opens Wednesday morning and while double checking everything I realized two of our four don't have tickets linked! I could have sworn I linked them, but alas, nothing doing. I looked for the original media from UT and I can't find it anywhere, I am kicking myself silly about this. I don't have any photos of the tickets, I have no copies of the numbers on them at all, all I have is the confirmation number from Undercover Tourist. I've sent them an email and I'm hoping they get back to my soon but I am not expecting much. Has anyone been in this situation before? Am I going to be dropping $1000 on two new tickets? In all my years of visits I've literally never done this before and I don't know what to do. This trip was a gift for the two people missing tickets and I'm worried I'm not going to be able to even get them FastPasses now!

Is it possible that they have a privacy setting on their MDE account that isn't letting you see them?

I bought my friends ticket as part of a resort package and I couldn't see her tickets which was weird since I booked them lol. She found a privacy setting and 5 minutes later I could see them. Hopefully it's something simple like that, but if not, good luck!!! I hope UT can help.

These two are kids on my MDE account, they don't have their own, and it won't let me make a FastPass party, definitely no tickets linked. Hoping for a positive answer from UT tomorrow, but if not, I guess I better scrounge up money for new tickets. Kicking myself!

At least if I manage to find them later, the girlfriend and I can use them towards our AP renewals I think, so hopefully it won't be much of a waste.

I have never used UT, but when I get tickets from parksavers they email me the ticket codes the next day and the actual tickets are a formality used for scrapbooking, have you gone through your old email from UT?

I have had tickets "disappear" in MDE before too. When looking at your MDE reservations, and on the top left, there is a drop down that usually says "Show all". Select that and pick one of the people missing the ticket. That's what IT told me to do and then it was there. They had told me that sometimes, MDE just doesn't display all the information.

I would call. I was unable to "find" my husband's ticket listed anywhere. I called and they fixed the link issue

The tickets are definitely missing from MDE, I will try to call them later to confirm, stuck at work now, but my girlfriend spoke with UT and they're going to see if they can find a record of the ticket numbers to email her so we can link that with MDE. I'm pretty sure they were never linked though, because I have no confirmation email of the ticket linking, which I would have expected.

I got an email when I linked my ticket, but not when I linked my husband's, so I'm not sure that you necessarily always get one.

Ahh! Frustrating.

Still, working under the assumption they aren't linked, does anyone have experience with UT in this scenario? Can I expect MDE linkable numbers before tomorrow night? Otherwise I need to buy new tickets tomorrow.

Matt

I know you are working under the assumption that they aren't linked, but please listen to others before you spend your money. I will add myself to the group that when I added 4 UT tickets I could see only 1 of them. One email that it was successfully linked. I called the 800 number for mde got a very patient individual and the first thing they said was "let's see what we have to do to get these tickets linked". They could see them even though I could not. I buy from UT all the time, same people in my account, just one time it didn't work. Hang in there.

We purchased 4 tickets, and at one point, only 3 were linked to my account. One randomly disappeared. I didn't have time to deal with it at the time, and when I logged in a few days later, it was back. But in my experience, UT has excellent customer service, so worst case scenario, hopefully they are able to help!

I bought tickets from UT many times for Disney and Universal. One time I remember not being able to locate Universal Studios tickets that I received in the mail. UT was able to provide me with a confirmation number, but I had to go to the ticket window at Universal to have them print new ones for me. I am betting that the Disney tickets are e-tickets, as they always came that way for me when I purchased them from UT. If they are, they can simply resend them to you and you can link them to your MDE or call Disney and have them do it for you.

I bought tickets from Disney and linked them and 1 has never ever show up for my youngest. It did still allow me to make FPs for him though and I have the email to show where I linked it.

You never did respond to the question on if you ordered e-tickets or paper tickets.
If you go to your account on UT, you should be able to see the e-ticket order. I always do e-tickets for this very reason. Can't loose them.

First things first, UT came through, they confirmed the lost tickets were not used, canceled them and re-issued me new ones by email which I was able to link by MDE. It took a while, but it's done. So yay! We're good to go.

You have a purchase confirmation from a reputable business. Why on earth would you think you'd have to buy them again? That doesn't make any sense.

What does either of those have to do with me losing the tickets? They held up their end of the deal, why on Earth should I assume they'd cover my error? If I buy a movie and drop the disc in the storm drain by accident would a business be un-reputable if they didn't just replace it? I'm glad they were able and willing to help but I wouldn't have thought them terrible to say "We're sorry to hear that, but there is nothing we can do."

I always went with plastic media because I liked having something physical to carry in case I needed to hand it over to Guest Services, I'll definitely be reconsidering this choice now though, that was very stressful.

Really?

Thanks for the feedback everyone, and for the curious, I did get a confirmation email for each of the two tickets I linked, as I always do. I'm perplexed that some people don't get those, very weird.
