lost the CC I booked CP with--problem?

I booked the CP with a credit card I have misplaced. I would like to cancel it for safety reasons, but then I am afraid they will run the charge through and it will be rejected, and then I'll be in trouble. What do I need to do here? I'm sure it's around the house somewhere, but I can't locate it.

Call your credit card co see what charges have been put thru. If all the charges are correct and with the CP charge. Then tell them that you have misplaced your card and issue a new one to be safe. Hope this helps and good luck.

Another option is to call Disney and see if they can change the CC you booked it with. Explain the situation and see what they can do.

OR book it again and then cancel the original.

In any case you need to cancel the CC that you lost, just in case.

don't worry about it. i had to cancel my credit card recently. i booked cp several months ago on it and then forgot. well, i just got a call 2 days ago saying they finally were about to put the charge on the card and it was rejected. so i just gave them a new one. luckily it worked out for me. but i would call them just to let them know and make it easier. i would have if i remembered. definitely better off safe than sorry. i was just a victim of identity theft (most likely via online) so be careful.

Well I really appreciate the help. Thankfully DH found the card when we were cleaning our mess of a kitchen. I am now putting it in its usual place. Thanks again. See you at CP on Dec. 5 at 5PM! (And Rose and Crown at 7PM).
