*Lost stroller*

The stroller is what they sell here at the parks and resorts, it's a basic Kolcraft.

Not sure where to post this. I just bought a Combi Flare '09 it holds up to 55lbs. It is the brown and green one. I am planning on using it for DS4 for Aug 19 to the 26th or 27th. Not much use for it after I return home. Please PM me if you are interested and can meet me at one of the parks or POP. Thanks.

I got another PM and just wanted to let everyone know I had the stroller re-packaged and labled at ASMu bell services with Midge's name , POP, and dates of stay on the claim ticket. I'm confused as to why POP would hand out a random Kolcraft stroller? That stroller may have belonged to someone else? or another swap?

Anyway, to clarify, when I picked up the stroller at the beginning of my stay bell services was very familiar with the swap and gave me all the directions on how to return it to POP, they were very helpful. When I was finished I delivered it a day early to POP in it's original box on the 29th of June, midge was to recieve it the 30th of June.

I did not follow up on it because after a month or so, I just assumed it all went as planned. It may very well be sitting in the box at POP, maybe it got overlooked? I don't have a need for a stroller outside of Disney, my son is 6, I would never misplace or keep it.

Perhaps the kolcraft was one they sell, and they just decided to replace the Mac with it since they couldn't find it....
Did you leave it at pop or music? Sorry its late for me and I'm confusing myself reading your post, lol. Has anyone been to either of them since to ask about it again (asking for Midges name)?
Thats so weird that they can just lose a large boxed stroller so easily, maybe they were just looking for the stoller though and not an actual box.

PMed love2disney info for p/u of Kolcraft on 9/3 since thekohouts are no longer interested in swap.
The Kolcraft is the stroller sold in the park. It's a decent stroller (great for a taller adult to push it/handlebars up higher) but it wouldn't be good for a child over 35 lbs. My daughter is 40+ lbs and she was too big in it so we didn't use it...
It's in great shape/like new.

I didn't check Pop for box with Mac with name "Midge" but maybe someone further down the list could (love2disney?)... not sure how long they hold items in luggage services...

There is a Kolcraft stroller still in the swap, but the original is still missing as far as I know. If you do take over for the person that was after me, get me your info as soon as possible, I leave early morning on the 9th, so would need your info by then in order to leave the stroller in your name when I'm done with it on the 17th.

If love2disney isn't able to check Pop for the Mac stroller, I will be picking up the kolcraft from her (at POP) and I can check then too.

As it stands we only have the Kolcraft stroller, the Mac hasn't been found yet as far as I know.

You are after me in the swap, but I read earlier in this thread that you were out because of the weight limit on the kolcraft. I've gotten the info from the person that was after you already, but if you still want to get the kolcraft let me know so that I know who to leave it for.

Ok, I'll send to the person after you.

You could always try a cheap umbrella stroller from walmart in a pinch, or as a last resort there are always the Disney ones in the parks, I think you can get a discount for purchasing more than one day at a time.

I just wanted to post publicly as well that I have PM'd with CrystalS and we have made arrangements for the swap, assuming the swap manager doesn't have an objection to me filling in for the withdrawn person.

I haven't heard back from Glenna, and don't see any forum posts from her since July, so I am assuming something has caused her to be away from the DIS.

I just wanted to post this out in the open, in the hopes that no ones feels I am jumping in out of turn or anything by filling in like this.

I will also be PMing the person who will be after me as soon as I figure out how to do so without having the link thingy to click.

We are on go Crystal.

I guess now I need to get the info from the person that's next on the list (hardingk was it?) So I can leave it at POP under the right name! I hope it will be okay sitting for that time. Unless we can find someone to sub in like I did.

With all the people dropping out for the weight reasons, I'm getting concerned. I hope my little niece will fit in it. I do not know her weight, but she's a petite 5 year old. *crossing fingers*

Just got a PM from HardingK that they are dropping out of the swap.

So what do I do? It looks like now there's going to be several weeks of no-one immediately after me. Do I leave it for the person 3 weeks after me or however long? Or is there a Florida local on the swap that can hold it? (I've been reading some of the other swaps that say the hotels are getting rid of swap items left longer than overnight!)

Just let me know what to do. I leave in 5 days.

Just had a thought - maybe someone should troll the other stroller swaps and let them know we have openings Sept. 26th until Oct. 18th.
