*Lost stroller*

Just got back today from Disney - great trip but had problems with the stroller swap. When we got there, we went to luggage services and asked for a stroller that would be in a box with my name on it. LS could not find the stroller...we went to the park without it but they said they would continue to look. We went there the next day and they did have a stroller with my name, phone number and check in dates attached to it. It was not a Mac stroller though, it was a Kolcraft umbrella stroller. It worked fine for us, but it's not the original stroller in this swap. I left a message with allbluezoo when LS gave it to us and I left a note on the stroller for when she picked it up today that this is the stroller that was left for me. I'm going to PM the swapper before me to see what she had.....will let you know.

Heard back from MidgeD79 - the swapper before me. She said the Kolcraft stroller was the only stroller that Pop Century had in their luggage area. There was no information on it so they gave it to her. This is the stroller that she used. She contacted the swapper before her and was told that the Mac was left for her with her name on it but I guess Pop Century could not find it. I'll call allbluezoo and give her this information. Maybe she will have time to contact Pop to see if they have found the stroller.

Could Kelly have left it at All Star Music- I believe from previous threads she was there til July 2? (I believe she was right before MidgeD79- who arrived on June 30 at Pop).

Hey gals...sorry I am checking in late. Yes, Christine I got your note about the stroller and it worked fine for us as well. I realize it isn't the original swap stroller, but it is a stroller just the same I left it at Poly for the next swapper! I haven't heard from her so I am assuming it was located and she is having fun at Disney!

Had a great trip and I left the Kolcraft stroller at the All Star Sports for JGoins. The Poly had no trouble finding it and the luggage services at Sports could not have been nicer. The crazy thing one afternoon we were in Animal Kingdom and I was looking for a map that I stuck in the back pocket and guess what this was a different stroller.... What a stroller swap! The good news is and was identical to the one we had but in better shape.

SO, we are 5 days from leaving, and thinking that a Kolcraft stroller is a bottom-value stroller. Is it just a plain, umbrella stroller? The ones I have seen are NOTHING to get excited about. I don't even think that I will be able to push it, as it'll be too short for my height. That's the reason the Mac would've been perfect. Guess someone loved the Mac well enough they took it home with them.

The stroller isn't the bottom of umbrella strollers. I too am tall and was able to push it without being hunched over. I have a cheapo one at home and this was definitely taller not sure if it is Mac height but taller and worked well for me. I was hoping for a taller Mac stroller as well but the height on it was fine for me and I'm 5'9".

Has anyone been able to find the Mac stroller we started with yet? I really like that one, lol.

The Kolcraft is red. It has a little net at the back of the stroller to hold items. It was really easy to get on the busses. I went on line and it looks like it is the Tour Sport Kolcraft stroller. Do a search on line and you'll find it. I'd post a link but I don't know how. Does anyone know who had the stroller before Midge? Maybe she can be PM'd to see what she had and where she left the Mac.

I got a message today that the stroller is MIA. So sorry to hear that, I used it on my vacation back in June and handed it off to MidgeD79 at POP. Hope that helps in the tracking process? I am surprised to hear it is gone, I have not been on the boards, but noticed there were 5 people after me.

I would have posted much sooner if I had known it went missing over a month ago

Hi again,

I got another PM and just wanted to let everyone know I had the stroller re-packaged and labled at ASMu bell services with Midge's name , POP, and dates of stay on the claim ticket. I'm confused as to why POP would hand out a random Kolcraft stroller? That stroller may have belonged to someone else? or another swap?

Anyway, to clarify, when I picked up the stroller at the beginning of my stay bell services was very familiar with the swap and gave me all the directions on how to return it to POP, they were very helpful. When I was finished I delivered it a day early to POP in it's original box on the 29th of June, midge was to recieve it the 30th of June.

I did not follow up on it because after a month or so, I just assumed it all went as planned. It may very well be sitting in the box at POP, maybe it got overlooked? I don't have a need for a stroller outside of Disney, my son is 6, I would never misplace or keep it.

Not sure where to post this. I just bought a Combi Flare '09 it holds up to 55lbs. It is the brown and green one. I am planning on using it for DS4 for Aug 19 to the 26th or 27th.
