Crap I was hoping Jin would still be alive along with Desmond. It looks like that is not going to happen. But if it blows up we know Micheal is not in the coffin. I can't wait 2 weeks.

Yep, so that must mean that Ben is in the coffin, which is why nobody went to see him. Also, that could be why Jack says they HAVE to get back to the island.....if Ben's dead, that means Widmore won control of the island and Jack's afraid of what Widmore will do to the people left on the island so he wants to go back and rescue them.

I've also been hoping that Jin didn't die, that he was somehow still alive on the island. But Sun saw all those explosives in that room on the freighter, and I have a feeling that Jin (and Desmond ) will die. My theory on how the Oceanic 6 get back together....Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid will get in the helicopter and head to the freighter. When they're about ready to land, they'll see Desmond and Jin yelling that the freighter is about to blow up and Jin will shove Sun and Aaron onto the helicopter and they'll get away just in time. So the 2nd person responsible for Jin's death would be Michael (I'm assuming he planted the explosives at Ben's request). And remember when the Oceanic 6 were first coming back in the Coast Guard plane and Sun told Jack "we ARE in shock." She's still trying to deal with Jin's death.
And what about Claire's mom at the funeral? Boy, did she make an amazing recovery or what?? It's only been 3 months since the crash, but when Claire left for the airport, her mom was still comatose and unresponsive. Even if we assume that Christian's funeral was a month or so after they got back, that's still only 4 months for Claire's mom to make a complete and total recovery. Weird.

I was thinking the same thing about Claire's mom. Some amazing recovery. At first I thought it was her Aunt, but then she said she was Claire's mother.

What's the deal with Kate not being in jail last night in the FF?

Clearly, at some point, she goes on trial....but she's not even taken into custody after the press conference (like I might have thought she would have been) and she was out for a decent amount of time since she is able to go to Christian's funeral and Hurley's bday party.

One other note....kinda cool that Hurley's car was showing the #'s on it when he got in....poor guy, can't win for losing!

That makes a lot of sense now that you take in the idea of the island coordinates becoming useless! I'm starting to see it now. Sayid is taking one boatload back, then the plan is he'll come back for the rest. Jin demands that Sun be on the boat, Kate takes Aaron as his caretaker and to be sure he's off the island. Sayid is of course, steering. Jack goes because he needs medical attention, and Hurley because? Okay, not sure on that one. But then the island disappears before they could get back for the rest. That makes a lot of sense. Very exciting idea and I can't wait for next week!

But isn't Hurley with John and Ben? I can see Sayid getting all the rest of them on the boat for all the reasons you state but if Hurley's with John and Ben how would he get on the boat? Of course, I just watched "Cabin Fever" last night and didn't see that there were any new eps on abc.com and based on the last couple of emails it seems I may have missed an ep?

I don't think 6 people could fit in that boat at one time.

I think you could fit six if you were trying to squeeze as many as possible for a rescue attempt. Does Aaron count as one of the six? If so,m he doesn't take up much space yet

I am really intrigued by Richard Alpert and why he was angry about young Locke saying the knife was his. What is the purpose of that whole scene?

I thought it was a hippy-dippy Dharma Initiative dislike of violence thing. Maybe I missed something?

That Richard guy was not a Dharma guy, Ben found him in the Jungle when he was a kid. I think he is a Blackrock guy.

So what's the basis for the belief that the others are Blackrock survivors? I missed that theory somewhere.

Well, for me the reasons are that the Others (not the Dharma Others but the true Others) definitely look like they are in sailor/pirate-type clothing, they look like they have been there for a very long time, and the Black Rock is still being brought up in the story. There is clearly more to the Black Rock than we know.

Locke is in the coffin at the funeral home.

Ben is rescued by Keamy by Richard Alpert and The Others (along with Kate and Jack).

Locke tells Jack if he wants to leave the island he has to lie about the island to be able to protect those who remain.

Keamy is wearing a deadman's switch that will blow up the freighter if he dies.

Ben kills Keamy as revenge for killing his daughter.

They make it to the Orchid station and go inside.

The chopper lifts off with Hurley, Jack, Kate, and Sawyer...but its damaged and Sawyer jumps out (safely) so the others can make it...after exchanging a passionate kiss with Kate.

Chopper makes it back to the ship and they pick up Sun and Aaron...the bomb goes off killing Michael. Jin falls off but Jack says the helicopter cannot go back...which is why Sun blames TWO people for Jin's *death*.

Ben puts on the Dharka with the name Candle that he is wearing when he arrived in the desert in that previous episode.

Ben turns a wheel FROZEN IN A BLOCK OF ICE which moves the island through time and space (and the surrounding islands).

Ben shows up at the funeral home and tells Jack he has to get back to the Island...and take the body of Locke with him.

I hope Locke is not permanently dead...How wiered does THAT sound! Anyway, I don't know that I'd continue to watch frankly. Between the time change and it getting more difficult to follow, killing off the favorite characters wouldn't inspire me to keep watching. Let's hope he comes alive when or if he returns to the island.

No that is so Grey's can have a two hour finale and because the producers could not fit the story into the originally agreed to post-strike episodes. So they got another hour of programming time.

I think fortunatly. Hopefully with nothing else really on, it will give Lost a boost in ratings. I was reading the TV charts from last week, and Hell's Kitchen had more viewers then Lost. I like Hell's Kitchen, but it's not nearly as good as Lost IMO.
