Oh yeah! I had to get up and poke the fire at that scene, I would of been a basket case if I let it get to me. I knew he was reaching out to VIncent, because of his connection to Walt.

It seemed like everyone from the tail section except Libby had someone to reunite with -- Michael and Vincent, Jin and Sun, of course Bernard and Rose, and even Ana Lucia and Jack. I don't know if I'm more curious about her backstory or Eko's.

Does anyone else think there's any significance in the clue and answer they showed from the crossword puzzle Locke was working on? Enkidu's friend -- Gilgamesh. If that's intended to be an analogy between two characers, who's "Gilgamesh" and who's "Enkidu"? My initial thought was Locke and Eko. But Gilgamesh was a harsh ruler and Enkidu was a worthy rival. the two faced each other in battle and ended up as friends and comrades until Enkidu's death. Ana Lucia and Sayid, perhaps? The analogy could almost apply to any two characters or even between the two camps of survivors.

Can anyone tell me AL's connection with Jack? He knew her name when Eko came to get him. And when they saw each other there was recognition. Have they explained that part yet? Did I miss it? Thanks!

They met at the airport before the flight and AL said she would buy Jack a drink on the plane (and they stated their seat numbers). They showed this last season in Jack's backstory and then again last night at the very beginning of the show. HTH

Last episode of season one, they were showing flashbacks of everyone in Sydney before they left on flight 815. Jack met AL in the airport bar.

I posted on the other thread - I wonder if there wasn't some connection between Jack and AL prior to the bar scene at the airport. Could he maybe have treated her when she was shot?

I'm willing to bet that they won't show Jack or AL much next week. Looks like they will be focusing on Kate.

Too late to make me like AL also. Tying up Sayid and leaving Sawyer to die doesn't score brownie points with me. I like (Mr) Echo. He saved Saywer's life

If Jack had treated her, wouldn't he have remembered?

I can't stand AL. Who does she think she is bossing everyone around? And why were they listening to her?

They're listening to her because she's the one with the gun & she's pointing it at all of them! She has no child, even tho she was pregnant, because she probably lost it after being shot. That loss probably explains why she "lost" it when those two people were fighting with the baby between them.

I don't think Jack knew AL before the bar meeting. I think he just remembers her name from the meeting at the bar. They were doing some heavy duty flirting after all, so it would make sense he would remember her. Remember, the crash was only 40 days ago, to them anyway

Finally just watched it tonight on tape.

There was lots with AL about babies and kids and stuff. Wonder how she will react when she meets Claires baby.....

I hate the way AL bosses everyone around like she is the queen!

I cryed and cryed at the Michael/Vincent, Rose/Bernard and Jin/Sun reunions too!

Kate and Sawyer....hmmmmmm...Jack looked mighty jealous when she was whispering in Sawyers ear....

I think they listen to her, because she took charge before and kept them alive for the first 40 days. That's what it sounded like when she was talking to Bernard anyway. I don't like her, but I don't care for Kate either - I think it'll be interesting when they get those two together....

Cried like a baby when Rose & Bernard saw each other again.

Like others, I pinned the pregnancy stuff right from the beginning. Everytime children were brought up, her personality changed.

Can't wait to see what Kate really did. She fascinates me because I don't think she is a bad person, but a person who got stuck in a bad situation, made some bad decisions, and eventually dug herself so deep that she couldn't get out. Really sad.

Oh. My. Gosh. That was AWESOME. I am so pumped about next week.

I told the family that I thought Kate had killed her dad who was probably abusing them right before the episode started and now they're telling me not to say ANYTHING, ANYMORE!!

Do you guys really think that was Walt? I do, but then again I'm not so sure. Why wouldn't Walt be like DAD??!!!?

I am so excited.
