Lost Ring - Friday's Christmas Parade Taping 12/3/10

Yesterday, while at the Disney Christmas parade taping (Magic Kingdom), my emerald and diamond ring fell off my finger. The ring has monetary value but even of more valuable is my father gave it to me several months before he died, knowing this would be the last gift he gave me.

I am posting the lost ring on this group because so many people are honest and if found, would return it to me if they knew I was the owner. So if you have any information, please let me know.

Contact Disney's Lost & Found immediately. I don't have the number but I'd start with 1-407-WDISNEY and go from there. They'll get you to the right spot.

Who knows someone with a conscience may have turned it in. Good luck!

I appreciate the advice. Thank you. I contacted the MK's lost and found. The lost ring is in Disney's system. Someone will find it and I hope it is someone with an honorable conscience.

Gosh, that is like finding a needle in a haystack. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it just got swept up or washed away at the end of the night.
Sorry you had that happen to you. What a way to spoil a vacation!

I've lost a small wallet *twice* on Disney property in the past four years and both times it was turned into lost & found, totally intact, all credit cards in place, money, etc.

People seem to be more honest while on Disney property, so here is hoping and a lot of pixie dust that your ring is turned in.

If it's any comfort, I was at the mall last Friday night & for whatever reason I happened to hear a noise & when I turned to look I saw a bag on an empty bench. I looked around & thought I saw the person who had just gotten up, so I grabbed the bag & started calling out, excuse me, excuse me, but no luck. I tracked her down in the Apple store but she said it wasn't hers. Couldn't decide if I should hunt down security or take it back to the Kay Jewelers where it was from. Wound up taking it to Kay. They pulled out the little wrapped box & knew who the customer was. They were calling them up when I left the store.

There is hope. I would imagine Disney lost & found is pretty big, so I think there's a good chance your ring is caught up in red tape, waiting for them to make the connection w/ you.
