Hi all,

Got back last night from a great trip. Weather was brilliant and the only time it rained was overnight (at least I think it rained!). Thursday, as expected, was really busy but very manageable as the park stayed open later - we left for a relax and a swim after lunch and went back in the evening which was great!
Only small problem is that DS8 left his fleece in the room - and yes we did all fail to spot it despite many last minute checks! :rolleyes1 Has anyone had any experience with getting items back from Disneyland Paris? and is so can they give me an idea of the charges involved? I have phoned the Hotel who have promised to get back to me but i am an impatiemt soul who likes information immediately!
Thanks for your help
Ann

Sorry, can't help with the lost property question but just wanted to say welcome back!! :wave2:

My brother left his €3.50 buzz lightyear yoyo in the room in the santa fe.. I emailed and inquired about it... Got a call to say it would be €23 to get it posted to me! So i decided just to buy hi another one on my next trip.. Which I did

Thanks for the info - it was nice to be forwarned!

They did phone back today and quoted the same for postage. Ok it was better value than for a yo-yo but still only works out at £5 less than a new fleece (and he was beginning to outgrow it!). Like you I have decided to let them keep it and will get him a new one a little earlier than I had anticipated. It is all a bit ironic as the trip was to celebrate him achieving his Black belt in karate - and it is his personalised karate fleece he left behind!

Hi Ann,
I will be there on Monday. Do you want me to collect it for you?
I live in London, but Post offices are plentiful!;)

That is really kind of you. I wish I had thought to ask before I rushed into anything :rolleyes1

Unfortunately I have already told the lost property department that I don't want it and ordered another (he tends to wear it quite a lot this time of year - shame he didn't wear it on the way home!)

Thanks anyway
Ann
