Last Friday night I shamefully lost my 5 day park hopper after only 2 days of use in Disneyland. I think it happened when I was digging out my HM fastpasss after watching Fantasmic (from behind the middle light tower thanks to the great info on these boards!). I realized it was lost just as I was returning to the PPH for the night. Frantic, I asked the person at front desk if there was anything I could do to replace it. I also told him that I had taken a picture of my park hopper with my iPhone if that would help (another tip I learned on these boards
. He asked me how I purchased it and when I told him through airmiles he said that it could only be replaced if I had purchased it through Disney. My only option at this point was to purchase a 3 day hopper and although I was grateful that he gave me a $50 discount I was not to happy to spend a extra $186
. He did leave me somewhat hopeful when he said I could be reimbursed if it shows up at lost and found.
The next morning I headed back to the park with my new 3 day park hopper. I stopped in at lost and found and showed the cast member my photo. She headed to the back with my phone and a second cast member took down my contact info. When the first cast member returned, she had a newly printed 5 day hopper in hand that she was able to re-print due to the picture on my phone!
