Lost one of my athletes today

I'm so sorry, I'm sure everyone who knew this special young lady misses her. I'm sure her parents are glad that she got the opportunity to shine as a Special Olympian.

Sounds like Special Olympians are true heroes, able to touch people's lives and change them for the better.

Oh, that is so sad. I know we have exchanged thoughts on Special Olympics and we agree on how important the Games are to these special athletes and their families. I feel especially sad for her parents. We're never ready to lose a child. It's just soo soo sad for her parents and sibs.
