I was starting to think about getting ready for cooler weather, and since I am a planner I like to make a list of thing to have on hand, to stock up the pantry with, So I went to find my recipe box, it has all my tried and true recipe's in it, and I can not find it. :scared1: I have searched everywhere...., We were moved by a moving company last year and I can't remember seeing it since then. OMG... I am so upset. They are so many recipes, that are jotted down, that I don;t know if I can replace them , I am super bummed out...

So I was hoping that you guys might share some of your recipes with me. :worship:

If you Please:

Broccoli & cheese soup
Hashbrown casserole
Potato soup
15 beans stoup ( i think that is what it's called)
White chicken chilli
Really any homemade soup or stew
seven layer salad
layered, nacho and bean dip ( this has fritos in it)
Green pea salad
Pear, fig, & goat cheese fondue/dip - (this is one of my favorites)
blooming onion -( the batter you dip it in)
Whatchacallit pie- ( It is sorta a baked dish with hamburger or you can use chicken, and I know there is a can of cream of "something" soup in it)

Ohhhh I am so upset... :sad2::sad2::sad2:

oh honey..... I don't have the time to print up all my recipes for you right now but what I would absolutely suggest you do is go to pinterest.com and set up an account. The food recipes on there are simply out of this world and there are so many ideas for so many other things. If you set up an account and you would like to "follow" me on the boards, please PM me and I'll give you my real name so you can follow me over there. :goodvibes I love to cook and entertain so I have a pretty good recipe board going over there! lol

The "15 bean stoup" is probably a Rachel Ray recipe...she's into "stoup" almost stew, almost soup. Google and see what you find.

My favorite White chicken Chili is here...I leave out the cheese
http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/white_chili/

www.allrecipes.com will have several 7 layer salads, hashbrown casseroles, Broccoli Cheese soup, potato soup... if you go there and read through some you might find some close to the ones you loved. They also have an ingredient search...so if you remember some of the ingredients you can plug it in and maybe you will find recipes very close to what you lost.
:grouphug: I hope you find the recipe box somewhere!

I have a crock pot potato soup recipe it is yummy, I can not type it out right now but I will later today.
Also White chicken Chili, a hashbrown casserole but I call it cheesey potatoes
I love to cook I love my recipes I am so sorry :flower3:

Oh, my sympathies to you!

When we moved the moving guys stole all of my baking dishes and longaberger pans oh, and my joy of cooking book that I got at my wedding 31 years ago.

I hope you find your recipe box!!!

I'll be keeping an eye out on here though. Sorry I can't help with the recipes but some of them sound interesting.

hashbrown casserole
1 bag shredded hashbrown (if you shred your own potatoes its better but most of the time i am too lazy to do that)
1 bag shredded velveeta cheese
1 16 oz tub sour cream
1 can cream of onion soup
1/2 stick melted butter
mix together and bake for 1 1/2 hrs at 350
you can also add a mixture of corn flakes and butter on top to make it fsncier if you want just take a about 2 cups corn flakes mashed and add 1/2 stick of butter melted mix them together and add to casserole when u have 15 min left to bake

White Chicken Chili

3 cooked boneless chicken breasts
2c. Mozzarella
1 8oz package cream cheese
3 cans northern beans
2Tbsp. Sour cream
1/2c. Medium salsa
1tsp. Sugar
1/2 envelope Taco seasoning
1 small can green chilis
1c. Water
1tsp. Garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

I put all of ingredients in a crock pot on low and simmer all day or you can cook fast on stove top med heat stirring constantly for 20-25 minutes. Top with additional cheese, sour cream, tostitos or hot sauce.
