and you will know we all care about you here
So sorry OP. I can 100% relate. My grandmother died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday afternoon. I am still walking around in a total fog. She was 86 years young, in great health, active.....I just can't believe it. Hugs to you and your family!
We lost my Mom a couple months ago. She had health issues and then was hospitalized. While at the hospital we all took turns staying with her. She was diagnosed with cancer and sent home. We lost her 5 days later.
It was really a blessing and the answer to our prayers because, except for that morning, she didn't suffer that much. She was at home with family when she left us.
Now she is with my Dad and is not in any pain.
Yes, we miss her (especially this past weekend - Mother's Day), but we know she is feeling fine now.
Please accept my sympathy at your time of loss.

to both of you as well...
. DH and I helped my dear Dad for years thru his brave cancer battle, sadly we lost him to the beast 7 yrs ago. Yes, losing a parent is a sad reminder how much we take for granted, to enjoy our loved ones daily and count our blessings. May your dear Mom's memories warm your heart in all days as she smilies upon and guides you from above.
and prayers to all who know the sad pain of losing a loved one.
