Lost My Camera!

Sorry for OT!

We spent a wonderful week at Hollywood beach Marriott.
Check out and realized the next day my camera & ALL my vacation
pictures. Are not in mypossession! I am devastated to say the least!

I have gotten nothing but run arounds, and promises of phone calls and still sit here with my fingers crossed that it's locked in a safe somewhere being "overlooked"
Has anyone ever had this happen? Does it take an eternity to turn up if at all? You know how they say the 1st 48 hours are critical?! (or is that in a murder case ) Well it's been handled poorly from day one of 4 messages left for Lost and found and not ONE response.

Need the pixie dust.... they could keep the friggin camera (which I loved and is no longer made!) just conviently find the "memory card".

I have my fingers crossed for you!! When I was a senior in high school I went on a fine arts trip to NYC and left my camera on the plane on the way home, so I understand your anxiety. Mine was not recovered, but I do hope your outcome is different.

I keep an address label on the camera itself and my name and address on a card in the case. I was lucky once someone sent it back to me when I lost it on vacation. I hope you can get yours back, too.

Ditto on the address label. I've got one on the bottom of my camera... there's no guarantee that it'll make its way back to me if I lose it, but it can't hurt!
