LOST - Last Season (NO SPOILERS)

OMG, my entire face was covered in tears. I've not cried that hard in a long time.

I broke down quite a few times thru out that 2 1/2 hours. I can't believe it's over.
Me too. It started when Jin and Sun saw the ultrasound and remembered, and as soon as I'd collect myself I'd start again.

I'm not sure how I feel about the way it ended. I don't think there was any way to end it that could have lived up to what we've seen over the last 6 years.

If I look at the mystery only, it's a bit of a disappointment. Over time, though, it became more about the people and their stories. I realized watching tonight I cared more about what happened to them than all of the mysteries left to be solved.

I still miss The Sopranos. I can't imagine how long it's going to take me to get over LOST :rotfl:

On a different note, how many of us are still here (either posting or lurking) that were on the very first LOST thread?

Jacks Dad said everyone dies sometime....I think that the side reality was a place formed by all the Losties to finally be together again once they all died

And where was Anna Lucia? Walt? Michael? Miles? Charlotte? Lapidus? Daniel? They don't count eh?

On a side note, what did you all think about that Target commercial for the keyboard? We got a screen with the numbers, 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 typed in, then the keyboard breaks as they're trying to hit enter (execute).

They were using it to get you to buy a special keyboard. INGENIOUS, IMO. I loved it!

BTW, I had a perfect pic the entire show. I'm so sorry that's not the case for everyone.

Michael not being there surprised me. Walt and Ana Lucia not so much.

I think that the side line life was with all of them dead but not knowing they were dead, they couldn't remember what had happened to them, so their lifes were different because they had not acknowledge what really happened, they need it to find that spacial moment that made them remember everything, that's why they kept saying "see you there when you're ready"

Locke told Jack that he never had a son after the surgery.

They didn't show Whitmore or Eloise in the church did they?

I didn't see Richard, Miles or Lapidus in the church. Did anyone else?

I don't recall, will have to rewatch.

Did we see Walt at all in this season? I thought for sure he was supposed to come back. It was great seeing Shannon back. No Michael either, eh?

Ok 2nd post in 5 min...
I only lost the show for a few seconds when the concert was on and Mile's mother was talking to Desmond. I will try and watch it on tape and hopefully it came through. I was taping on regular tv and watching on the HD channel.
What did everyone think of the Target commercials.
I loved the one with the boar running then the bottle of barbeque sauce. The smoke monster one was just ok. the third one has slipped my mind right now but I remember I laughed at that one. Someone jar my memory of that one, I don't want to watch the entire show again right now.

Yes, Jin and sun were happy, smiling like they finally realized that they were dead and it was time to move on.

I'm soooo confused. How appropriate that I'm still Lost! I loved the entire thing until it dawned on me that Jack was dead. I initially thought he was the only one dead and the others were there for his funeral. So, Ben isn't dead which is why he didn't come in? Miles, Richard and Lapidus weren't on the original plane so they aren't dead and the Losties don't know them?

I did love the Target commercials - the pig, the smoke monster, the computer numbers - very cool.

Don't forget Kimmel in 5 minutes everyone.

I think giving us alternate endings is a HUGE mistake.

I'm not watching them. The ending is the ending.

....at least for now.;)

I've been here since Season One. :goodvibes

I'm in denial about my feelings on the ending, I don't want to accept that I didn't like it! It was great until the last few minutes. I don't think they copped out really, but I just thought it was stupid that they were all dead. And why was Penny there?

I was SOOOO happy to see Charlie and Claire reunited!!!

That was a great commercial for the Bud Light, followed by the First Alert smoke detector.

First, denial, then anger, then sadness......... How it ended was very sad. I finally got that they were all dead all along......:sad2::sad1::mad::guilty:

Then why did they show the plane wreckage on the beach at the end, as if there were no survivors?

That's what I thought too really. Jack was in the exact position he started in. I'm not sure what the plane flying overhead was for though, if it was at that time.
