Hasn't anyone else seen the new Lost in Space on Netflix?
I have and I really liked it. The reviews have been mostly positive, but I have to laugh at some of the replies complaining about the new LIS "feminist agenda"
I bet they never complained about the sexism if the original series, where Maureen was there only to cook and look worried, and the 11 year-old son (Will) was smarter, more knowledgeable, more capable than both his older sisters and his mother!
Even as a little 6 year-old that aspect of the show made me cringe! I was always embarrassed for Maureen, Judy and Penny.
Now Maureen is what she should have always have been, a brilliant, accomplished scientist with the brain required for such a mission.
I also live that even if Will is a genius, he is still portrayed as a little boy.
Although this show is family oriented, it is much more mature than its predecessor, which was geared for kids.
I also loved that MINOR SPOILER ALERT: I loved that Billy Mummy, the original Will Robinson, had a small role as the real Dr Smith.
