My husband thinks we forgot a pair of his jeans in our room at POFQ when we checked out last Monday. Where should I start to see if they were found and turned in? Thanks

Call thr resort directly and they should be able to help you out. On our Oct.09trip our son left his hat which was signed by all the characters at Chef Mickey's we tried central lost and found and they could not locate it and they directed us to POR and they found it in their system.
Good luck.

Call this number:

Phone: 407-934-5000

And ask for the POFQ Lost and Found ... Be sure to specify or they will send you to Central Lost and Found which is where stuff goes after 14 or 30 days..

I called last Monday and left a message.
I got a return call Tuesday afternoon.
The jeans were delivered today by UPS :)

This is what many cms told us, so we went to central lost and found by the MK kennels. They told us all resort items were kept at the resort for 90 days and then discarded.
My cell phone was stolen from my bag at the pool late September. I called daily for a week and was sometimes told to call central L & F, sometimes referred to the resort. When I was back in December I asked at the resort on a whim and my phone which was stolen 9/26 was turned in 10/2 and had been at the resort the whole time.

An issue with Lost and Found has been the only time I have actually sent a complaint email to WDW. And it wasn't truly lost and found, it was the CM at the front desk who we had to deal with.

We had been at Jambo House for just one night. For some reason, my friend tucked her baggie with chargers and cords away in a draw. She never put any clothes in there, so I couldn't figure out why she put that in there, but that wasn't my business.
Okay..we pack up the next morning and have our bags moved over to BWV. When we got our bags that night (a Monday night), she discovered that she hadn't packed the charger/cords baggie. Then she remembered that she had tucked them away in the draw. It was about 5:10pm, but I called down to Bell Services to see what they would recommend. They said they would call over to AKL and see what they had to say. They called me back to tell me that Lost and Found closed at 5, but to call them and leave a message, right then, giving them as many particulars as I could.
So..I called, left a message, giving them the room number, and where the bag had been left and what was in it. Gave them my cell number. So...the next day, I haven't heard anything by lunch-time. So, at about 2ish, we head over to AKL ourselves, figuring that we have a better chance to find the stuff in person.
The CM at the front desk just handed my friend a form, told her to fill it out and that if the items were found, they would be shipped home to her..then turned around to finish her conversation with another CM!! We explained that shipment home wasn't going to be a good option..she needed that baggie to charge her cell phone, as well as her camera!! But that's the way we do it ma'm, she said. I got downright assertive, which I seldom do...told the girl that we couldn't leave until we knew what the story was, that my friend could not wait until she got home..what were our options. Well, the CM heaved this huge sigh, said just a minute, and called Lost and Found..no answer. So, she told my friend to hold on a minute.
I went off in search of a ladies room. When I got back to the lobby, my friend was sitting there, waiting. Evidently, the CM had turned to the other CM, and said.."I guess I'm going to have to take my break later now....I have to find this stuff." I was incensed...I couldn't believe a CM had actually said that in front of a guest!!! Put me right over the edge.
But...about 5 mins later, along came a beautifully costumed CM, on a Segway....with my friend's baggie in hand. She was so pleasant and cheerful, it was like night and day from the front desk CM. That baggie was now double bagged in another baggie, with the room, date and time, the left behind baggie had been found....and it was evidently about 3 hrs after we had left, right where we had said we left it.

That front desk CM is the first, and hopefully the last, CM I have sent a negative email about. I will say that someone from Disney did call me about it....about a month later. But we had a nice discussion about it, and why I was so upset about it.
Lost and found did it's job...just perfectly. If only the front desk CM had taken the time to check on it rather than trying to get out of doing it.
