Lost ESTA codes

Hi all,

Two weeks to go and we have a problem...I've scrolled through and posted on the ESTA sticky and can't seem to find my answer so I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me?
Two things...my husband took down our 3 codes at the end of the ESTA form filling process and has now lost them, do we need them and if so how can I find them? Secondly, having only applied for ESTA's once before I have forgotten whether or not I'm waiting for something in the post, notification of application, something to take to the airport?

Any help or pointers will be gratefully recieved.

You can retrieve your application number. Go to the main page https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/, then click the If you are missing your application number, please click here link, bottom right. That will take you to another screen where you input your personal details.

They do tell you that you don't need a printed copy of the application form and, whilst I've never been asked for one, I always take copies just in case. You won't get anything in the post, but you can print it from the website.

We've been a few times since esta came in and I've never taken the numbers with us, don't even know where they are. I wouldn't worry about it.

Unfortunately people are having problems on entry, thankfully on our forum everything seems OK but read other forums, its not a foolproof system , one ongoing thread here http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=500442&highlight=esta

Thanks for this info, was able to check on mine using this as was concerned when it ran out. Luckily it runs til August next year, and we're cruising in May/June, so perfect timing.
