As I've already mentioned, I liked the new questions that were brought up... I just found the "twist" ending predictable. "Who shot J.R." it was not...

I wasn't picking on you. I totally agree that it wasn't a who shot jr ending, but what I was really laughing about was that JJ Abrams said we wouldn't be able to stop talking about it. I was making reference to that. It wasn't the "jr" ending they told us it would be, but even so (they were right) we can't stop talking about it.

It just amazes me how much effort ABC is putting into this show via the web. It's Blair Witch marketing again. There are the Oceanic Air sites, the Driveshaft site the creators have the Fuselage. It's kinda cool.

Yes - it looks to be legitimaly created by ABC. The privacy link at the bottom and the videoclips are all linked to the ABC website.

The general consensus around the web is that it is an official site not a fan site. There is some copywrite info (Touchstone TV) and to enter the contest you have to be a member of abc.com.

The official owner of the domain is Oceanic Airlines and people doubt a fan would be able to get the registration listed as that while ABC could.

Jack was drinking on the plane. He mentioned how weak the drink was to the stewardess and she gave him a few extra bottles of alcohol, which he pocketed.

Has anyone made a list of the other Oceanic flight departures and arrivals? Are the cities connected to our Lostaways at all?

Ok, I decided to be unlazy and check it out on my own. Here's the deal:

Flight 510 - JFK to RMA = New York to Roma, Australia
Flight 572 - EDR to ATL = Edward River, Australia to Atlanta
Flight 901 - CDG to OKR = Paris to Yorke Islands, Australia
Flight 815 - SYD to LAX = Sydney to Los Angeles (duh)


Flight 722 - LAX to EWR = Los Angeles to Newark, NJ
Flight 671 - ULP to JJA = Quilpie, Australia to ???


So here's my NEW question: is it weird that flight 722 is the only one that doesn't fly to or from Australia? Does that have anything to do with ANYTHING?

And Flight 671....there's no JJA, but I'm assuming that's JJ Abrams having a little fun.

My theory has now been proven useless lol.

It's an ABC site and the message board there is linked to the ABC message boards. I used my same username to sign in there.

Click on her seat again...a map of an island w/ a boat on it shows up...all kinds of directions and stuff. I'm wondering now if Sayid knew about the island and was looking for it.

Did you notice how it keeps changing from flight 777 to 815? I'll bet only some of them were on flight 815. Others were on flight 777, which would explain why Hurley went on gate 23, but on the site it doesn't list gate 23 for flight 815.

The only ones I can get to come up are Locke, Charlie, Shannon, Boone, Jack and the Marshall. How are ya'll getting the others to come up? Where are you clicking?
PS I'm hitting refresh every once in a while.

I'm just sorta clicking wildly and seeing what comes up. I've been able to locate the people you listed, as well as Rose and Kate. I can't, however, get any response to Locke's seat - no creepy knives for me. And I only get Sayid's passport - no boat or map coming up.

Does anyone have any theories as to why some of them come up red and others don't? Or, for that matter, the significance of clicking on the seats that don't have our "friends" in them? Cause some stay selected and others don't....I wonder if they're some sort of code of clicks to get certain names to pop up....

Okay...I'm confused on this oceanic website.

I did the flight tracker for 815. When all the flights come up they have the scheduled and actual depature and arrival time. They have an ACTUAL ARRIVAL time for flight 815. Since the plane crashed, shouldn't here be NO actual arrival time since the flight never arrived at its destination?

I saw the preview after clicking the numbers on the oceanic airlines site. If this is a preview for next season then Sawyer is alright since I am sure I saw him running through the trees unless there is another person that looks just like him.

I see the faces totally different I guess, I see a body attached to the one on the right, possibly wearing a suit and tie, and his face is looking the opposite way that bengalbelle outlined. I see two x's but no "no" and there looks to be some sort of body there too, a far away shot so it is small... Where are these pictures from, are we sure they weren't photoshopped or something? I'm a bit leary...

I thought it was a seating chart for a 777 type plane
which is what the used (?) for flight 815
