Lost AP what now?

Hi, I think I might have lost my AP. I found one but it might be a old one. How can I tell for sure if it’s valid? And if it the old one what do I do? Leaving tomorrow for DL!!!! Freaking out! Thanks

Isn't there somewhere in your Disney online account that has you pass number listed?

If you’ve lost it, you pay for a replacement. When hubby lost his and our son’s APs on Screamin’ because the Disneyland-purchased lanyard pouch broke, and the CMs never found it, we got to pay something like $25 each for the replacement cards.

Ok good news I hope! Hubby apparently took a photo of it last time we went in case I lost it. Will that work? It’s on our phone. Please say yes ! lol although paying $20 isn’t bad, but the thought of standing in line is a pain....

Do you have the Disneyland app? Check and see if your AP is under “My Tickets”. If so, you can use this to scan for entry, however, you won’t be able to use it to get Fastpasses, unless using MaxPass since that’s done through the Disneyland App.

Go to the Guest Relations window to the left of the Disneyland entrance. They can reprint passes there and there usually ins't a line. You will need the physical card for any discounts.

If you have parking on your pass, you may need the physical card to show at the parking booth. Sometimes people report being able to use their phones, but usually CMs ask to see the physical card.

Geez you have made some really good points especially about fast passes! I have a few hours to tear this house apart looking for it! Wish me luck! Otherwise I will be at guest services! Ugh!!! Wish I had a better memory!

If your husband also has an AP you could use that for discounts/parking, and if you purchase MP then you can pull FP through the app as well as use the app for entering the park. So technically you might be able to get through the trip without the card, then you can take your time searching for it before your next trip. However, MP is $10/day, so if you weren't planning on getting it in the first place and you're going for more than two days, then it would actually be cheaper to just replace the card. At the very least, you can use the app to enter the parks and enjoy the quiet morning hours, and then go to guest services later in the day when it's convenient.

It's easy to get a new one. You can only replace it once in each calendar year however.

Just an update! I found my pass! It was in my traveling makeup bag lol! Also found a $50 gift card! Just arrived at our hotel! We made great timing. Now trying to figure out if I should go to the lobby and try to check in that way I can leave the car here and Uber to the parks in an hour. Happy Day!! Thanks again for all your help!

Great news! And the gift card was super pixie dust! (Just a tip: some people here note their AP location and date on their phone, e.g. "sock drawer, Dec. 2017," so that they can find it right away for the next trip.)

I forgot it on one of my trips last year. It was a costly mistake.
