I'm not sure where I should post this but since I'm a DVC member, I'll start here. We are planning a trip in April and I was on My Disney Experience linking all of our AP's to our reservations and realized we have misplaced my son's AP. I contacted Disney and was told that I would have to go in person for a new card and they could not give me the number to have them linked.

Does anyone know if I wait until April will I be able to get his card linked up to MDE & Magic Band w/ the other fastpass reservation times...?

Also, my Dad is leaving Tuesday morning for Disney, could he get the replacement card for me? I don't recall if they ever asked for ID.

Any advise is appreciated and I apologize if I posted on the wrong board.

After you get the replacement AP, you can link it to his MDE account. MagicBands will be issued for him--and everyone else in your party--regardless of the park ticket status.

The only thing you won't be able to do is book FastPass+ for him before the AP has been attached to his account. That's really not a big deal. Book them for everyone else in your party. Then once his AP is entered, there is a copy function you can use on MDE to replicate your FP+ selections to his account. You may want to avoid booking things like Toy Story Mania, Illuminations viewing and Wishes viewing the first couple days of your trip. Those are the FP+ options that tend to fill-up in advance. If all slots have been claimed, they won't let you copy the selections to your son's account.

Overall it's unlikely you will run into many (or any) problems with FP+.

Thanks tjkraz! Do you know if my dad could get a replacement pass for me when he's down this week? Or would they question since my son would not be with him.

My son lost his annual pass, while we were at Epcot and he was at Magic Kingdom. We were able to get him a replacement while we were at Epcot, and caught up to him at our hotel to give him his new one. I am not sure if your father would be able to do it if he was there, and you and your son weren't. We had to show ID, and they were able to verify that he had entered Magic Kingdom earlier that day.

Thanks! I know we have had to have them replaced a few times. It sure would be nice if they would let my dad but I'm not counting on it.
