Good Luck and I hope you hear something soon.So if WDW does not exercise their ROFR by the 30 day mark does that mean that they lose that right? About how long does it take to complete the paperwork once you pass the ROFR? The sellers seem to be on top of things. Getting paperwork in the day they receive it, just some background info for you.
Mine took less than 2 weeks to pass ROFR for a BCV contract last month. Seems very odd that yours is taking so longI would be going nuts (and calling every third day to check with my agent)

I see below you passed, congratulations. Let me answer this question for others that might be interested. As TLSnell1981 hinted, the rules say you must give DVD at least 30 days until closing. If you set closing at 6 months from now, DVD would have 6 month of ROFR. The best approach, IMO, is to put closing exactly 30 days from when you think you can get the paperwork to them. You can always reset it later if you need to for some reason. So if WDW does not exercise their ROFR by the 30 day mark does that mean that they lose that right? No.They do not lose the ROFR...I asked my sales agent the same thing. I was told they would put a rush on the closing. Sixteen days later I received closing docs. FedExd everything the following work day(this past Monday). (I paid cash and my sellers have also been on top of things) Still waiting.....
Did you think your BCV contract would have no problem passing based on your price? I thought that my price ($88 per point) might have just been on the border of what might be ROFR'd. That's what made me nervous more than anything... I was imagining Disney hanging on to it 'just incase' someone walked in and wanted to buy that use year/points.![]()
I paid $94 a point for a 100 point contract so i wasnt too concerned abot ROFR. That could be why it was quicker.
