Losing mymind. rethinking stuff. Water park or no?

DS13 and I are going 6/6-6/10. Short trip but early arrival and late departure gives us more time.
Plan is
6/6-AK, 6/7 MK 6/8 EPC, 6/9 HS 6/10 MK (but need to leave around 3 i'm guessing as our flight is at 8p)
I'm starting to wonder if we should try and work in a water park....
But when? I like RD at parks to "avoid" crowds, etc.
Is Typhoon Lagoon really good? We have a Six Flags right near us and we go about 6 times during the summer and spend most of our time at the water park part... So is it worth it to spend some of our valuable time at a water park? And if we did that, how would we get in all the attractions we want to see/do at the parks?

Unless you or your traveling party are really really into waterparks, I would just stick with the regular parks on a trip of that length.

I really enjoyed my first visit to TL last summer, especially the lazy river, but we only spent 2-3 hours there & wound up spending the later afternoon in one of the parks. It was a fun extra, but we'd have to be on a longer trip than 4 or 5 days to really spend more time at the waterparks, imho. If it says anything, we're not doing the waterparks this trip.

In general, I only do the waterparks on longer trips, trips of at least 5 days. They're fun, and I love them, but for a shorter trip I would recommend just sticking with the parks. Also, during hot days, the water parks can actually close to capacity unless you get there early, and you may not feel like going early in the morning.

For a short trip I wouldn't recommend it, but if the trip is longer it can be a nice way to break up park days ... very enjoyable.
