Losing My Login . . .

For the life of me I can't figure out why I continue to loose my Login when on The Boards!

I log in as usual, checking the "Remember Me" box; am recognized and welcomed; begin my browsing and find something to respond to. Next thing you know I am faced with a request to Log In again! In doing so, it takes me to a blank screen and holds me there until I back up past the Log In request page. There at the top of the page is my Login, all seems well, and off I go with the usual activity, until it happens again maybe 10 minutes later.

It also does not recognize me when I return, so checking the "Remember Me" box has not worked for me. I am not removing any "cookies" that may have been dropped on me. I have not made any changes to the system.

Any ideas? I never lose my Login on any other site. Anybody else losing their minds . . . .

There is comfort in knowing that someone else is having this problem (so sorry) . . . . and just to let you know, I had to once again Log In to make my comment . . . .

Which browser are you using, and what version?

I am using Internet Explorer on Windows 7. It has worked well for the last year without any problems.

Try logging off, clearing your cookies, clearing your cache (control + F5), and then log on again. This works the majority of times people do this.

Sharing the results . . . .

I cleared my cashe and dumped all of my cookies. I started Internet Explorer, logged in to the DISBoards, connected up OK. Closed Internet Explorer; waited 15 minutes; fired up Internet Explorer, went to the DISBoards; and I was still logged in.

So it seems that fixed the trouble. I will report again in a few days.

I followed your suggestions, and it worked last evening, but today, it was back to the same old -"sign in again."

Try it again. Hopefully, it works this time. Also, hit control+F5 to clear your cache and see if that helps.
