My dd (6) just lost her first tooth over the weekend, but instead of putting it under her pillow she is saving it for Disney (next week)...Her logic - the Tooth fairy knows Tink and she will get something really cool at disney from the tooth fairy...

Fortunatlly I'm working with memories by sarah to get a gift basket for the kids - she is also going to get me a Tink mini snow globe so that I can put it in the room - from the tooth fairy/tink - DD will be over the top....

Just thought I would share. :cloud9:

Great Logic from a 6 year old!

We were in Disney 2 years ago when my DD was 6 - and she lost 2 teeth at once - we knew they were loose - but didn't expect both of them to come out at once - chewing on a jelly bracelet was the key to that one.

We had set the stage before we left home - saying that Tinker Bell IS the tooth fairy for Disney World and that if she lost her tooth while we were there - that Tink would come see her.

After DD went to bed - I hopped over to DTD and started looking for Tink stuff! Of course, I found LOTS of stuff! The best however, was when a great CM asked me if he could help me find anything - I told him the story and he was off!! He pulled a "Magical Moments" certificate from the drawer - filled it out and signed it from Tinker Bell's friend... he then affixed two collectible pins to each corner (WOW!). He then proceeded over to the little girls hair accessories with an envelope - he dumped out the hair bows and proceeded to brush the glitter from the container into the envelope so I could sprinkle it on DD's pillow! He was incredible! I wanted to get some Disney Dollars with Tink on it - and he called around to the different registers until he found a $10. DD was SO excited the next morning - with the help of the Awesome Disney CM - I was able to create magic for my DD.

That's why we vacation at Disney!!

We did the same thing on our trip. DD6 lost her tooth on the trip, but I knew it was very loose when we left. We just got $10 Disney dollars and put them under her pillow from Tinkerbell since we were at Disney world. She was happy to have some extra spending money. Cute story, thanks for sharing.

How wonderful is that. My gilrs think Tink and the toothfairy are sisters becauae they are both fairies.

My DS lost his 4th tooth at Disney in September. We had no idea it was loose, and at 11pm at night we were wondering what Tink could bring. Luckily she found $10 Disney Dollars to leave him. He was a very happy camper! The next morning, a little boy on the elevator smiled and told us that he had lost his tooth the night before as well. Must happen a lot at Disney.

LOL, this thread reminds me of something that happened at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge 2 years ago. While we were eating dinner, a child several tables away lost a tooth. A couple of minutes later their waiter found out about it and called for silence in the restaurant (not an easy thing to do at WCC) and announced the lost tooth to everyone there. He then proceeded to announce to all of the children that the Tooth Fairy did not have rights to come onto Disney property and with that being so, Tinker Bell took over the Tooth Fairy's duties on Disney property and that she left $20 for each lost tooth while at Disney. Every child in the place cheered. Our then 5 year old son began working furiously on the one loose tooth he had at the time. He didn't want to miss out on $20!!
