Not sure where to post this...... I'll start in the resort forum as that is where the "tooth fairy" will visit.

I'm fairly certain DS is going to lose a front tooth while at Disney. Any thoughts on what I can do to make it special? It's not his 1st but his 3rd. I told him I thought he would lose it at Disney and he got all excited. I thought maybe tinkerbell could visit instead of the standard tooth fairy. Would the front desk have any tinkerbell tooth fairy notes? We'll be staying at Pop.

You're such a good mom. I'm horrible. My 7yo lost a tooth at the Pirate and Princess Party last August. 11:30 at night we're walking down Toontown, and he's in the Double Stroller with his 4yo brother, all of a sudden we see his arm shoot up, and he yells "tooth!" and he was handing us the tooth. I remember a kid laughing at him--- he was so matter of fact about it, and didn't want to lose a step because he was enjoying the party so much. We didn't get back to our hotel room until close to 2am, and we all forgot about the tooth (him included). We remembered the next afternoon, and we explained the tooth fairy wouldn't find us there, so we'd put it under his pillow when we got home-- we did, and all was fine. But I felt so bad that we forgot about it.

My son lost a tooth at Disney. That night before we put it under his pillow, I picked up the phone and pretended to place a call to the Tooth Fairy. I "told" the customer service rep for the Tooth Fairy that we were in Disney World and he lost a tooth. The customer service rep "told" me that she was making note of it and that the information would be passed on to Tinkerbell. Because Tinkerbell handles this in Disney. "Tinkerbell" left a note and some Disney Dollars. My son was quite excited. He is now 10 and still mentions that Tinkerbell gave him money for his tooth in Disney.

Have a great trip!

Oh don't feel bad. I have 3 kids and now that my "baby" started losing teeth I have forgotten here at home :rotfl: too many teeth to keep track of I guess!
The night she lost her first tooth... it was right before bed and all the tooth fairy had in her wallet was a $20 bill :rotfl: :rotfl: that was ONE PRICEY TOOTH :rotfl: needless to say, the tooth fairy learned her lesson after that night! If you want a note from Tinkerbell, make one on the computer and then slip it into your luggage where he can't find it to have just in case. Sometimes at Disney you have to make your own magic :rolleyes1

On one of our more recent trips, could have been at Christmas, we saw a tooth pillow with a cute little pocket on it. It may have even had Tinkerbell on it. It was cute though!! My DD and DS are too old for that now and if they loose a tooth, it's going to cost me big time!!! The pillow may have been in the World of Disney store at DTD or at the Emporium at MK. I just can't remember exactly, but those are my two favorite stores so I would imagine one of those two would have it.

Good luck!!!

How cute is that. Losing a tooth --a memoarable event in the most memorable place on earth!!! I like the idea of the Disney dollars with the Tinkerbell note.Cant go wrong with that combination:woohoo: Boy do I miss that age. Hope you have a great trip.

My DD7 lost a tooth at Disney in October. She lost it at Mamam Melrose while we were eating. I left the restaurant and asked in several stores about getting a handful of Pixie dust to purchase. I never did find any. My DH went to the front desk at the Poly and exchanged $$ for Disney $$'s and they also gave him a Tink pin for her. It was great since she just started collecting pins. We didn't have a tooth pillow with us since she had lost so many teeth right before the trip. But we just wrapped in a paper towel and put it in a ziploc.

Same here. My dd lost a tooth at AK and we got some Disney dollars for her. I told her that Tinkerbell is the tooth fairy at WDW. She was thrilled!

While at OKW 2 years ago, my DS lost his first tooth. He was quite concerned that the tooth fairy would not find him, so he wrote a note to the front desk letting them know that, if the tooth fairy was looking for him, he was in room xxxx. He woke up the next day to balloons, a Stitch doll and a picture of Mickey signed "we found you".

The OKW staff were great helping the tooth fairy find us. I couldn't thank them enough for the magical visit.

OMG, these stories are soooo cute. I wish my kids were young enough for this. But like an above poster said, if my kids lose teeth now, it will cost me big time. I love the Disney dollars and Tink pin idea!!!!:cloud9:

My DD8 lost her second tooth at Disney and she got pixie dust and five Disney Dollars under her pillow. She used it to buy one of those 'blinky necklaces' at the park. :thumbsup2

These are all great ideas...... what is Pixie Dust? Will they have Disney dollars at the front desk of POP?

my dd lost her 2nd tooth at WDW while eating outside cosmic ray's. Unfortunately though, she put the tooth on the tray and it got thrown away accidentally right outside the Indy cars. The TF still visited and left her a very nice gift and felt VERY BAD about not seeing the tooth on the tray! Enjoy your trip and have fun!!

Ok, I'm going to make a card from Tink..... I've found the picture I'm going to use. Can anyone think of anything catchy to write on the card.....something that Tink would say? I'm just not very creative. Tink will also be leaving disney dollars......maybe $10 or so since it's "special". Sorry Tooth Fairy.....my son will be so disappointed when he only get a $1 for his next one!:rotfl:

I brought my own 'pixie dust' which was some irridescent Wet 'n Wild glitter I bought at Wal-Mart. :thumbsup2 If they have some Mickey Head glitter at WDW (which they probably do) that would work good too.

I'm not sure if they have Disney Dollars at the POP front desk. Anyone else know?

Someone told my kids before we went to wdw that if you lost your tooth the tooth fairy doesn't come. The only fairy aloud in wdw is Tinkerbell and she would come. They also told my kids that she gives $20. I didn't my kids would loose any in wdw. Of course both of them did and remind me of the story.:rotfl:
