I'm in the process of planning a trip for next June. Is it possible to see the LA highlights in 1 day? FYI, we aren't interested in seeing the star's homes, or shopping. We would be spending the night on our way from San Francisco to Disneyland. Thanks in advance for your help.

Not a problem. Do your research and have a plan.

It is possible, but I think it's worth determining whether or not you really want to spend time in L.A. You may find that you would rather go straight to Anaheim and spend the day relaxing around the pool.

What kind of sites do you want to see? We did Universal, saw the Hollywood sign and walked along the Hollywood walk of stars the day before we hit Disneyland. Like a previous poster stated, just have a plan, get a map, and decide how much and what you want to see. I thought everything was easy to find and it was fun and I'm glad we did it.

I have almost a year. Hopefully, I'll have it figured out by then.

We're from the east coast (Florida), & haven't been to LA. I've been to the airport, but that doesn't count. ;) For us, it's more like a "been there, done that" kind of thing.

I'm sure we'll want to see the Hollywood sign & the walk of fame. As of now, I'm not sure what else we'll try to fit in. I'd love to go to Universal & Knott's, but we have so many places to visit in CA we won't have a lot of time in LA.

I found this site http://www.allanaheimtours.com/city-tours/los-angeles-tours/sbc-2647 they have a few different tours pf LA. They pick up and drop off on Anaheim too! I will seriously consider using them on my next trip

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out.
