L'Originale Alfredos...

I would give it a 7/10. The food was pretty good: I had the Lasagna, which had a unique taste with a hint of cinammon. My wife had the famous Fettuccini Alfredo. It was also quite tasty, but it was NOT as good as the fettuccini at Spoodles! It was expensive, and loud, and it was crowded, and I could have done without the napkin waving every 30 minutes, but the food and wine were good and I will definitely go back in the future!

That's so funny. When we were there for about 1 1/2 hours they didn't do any napkin waving at all (I personally wouldn't have minded, the kids would have loved it). Is this common? It was quiet when we were there in June.

We have Alfredo's and Mama Melrose on our list - I hope they are both good I am not with a lot of adventerous eaters. Which one do you prefer? :confused3

We've enjoyed both! We've dined at Mama's 2 times and thought the food was great and enjoyed the service. Thought Alfedo's was a bit more authentic and was an entirely different experience but loved it too.

I have never had the pleasure of going to Alfredos.. I really want to but keep getting outvoted!

Just ate there the week of July 15th. We LOVED it!!!!!!!!
It was probably our most expensive meal while at WDW but we had appetizers, and dessert along with our meal. The food IMO was fantastic!!
Plus I cannot say enough about the atmosphere. We had an absolute ball dining at Alfredos. The waitstaff were singing and got the guests involved clapping along to the music, and waving napkins in the air. It was an all around wonderful expereince and we will definatley go back again next time!!!

I think it might be my favorite restaurant in Disney. Some hate this place others love it. It's just a whatever floats your boat kinda thing.

I am not expecting a fantastic meal, but I was planning on trying the lasagna. Not too sure about the veal filling, however. I may have to order the fettecini, since many here have enjoyed that.

Thanks for the postive posts!

They have a combination plate with the fettucine, the lasagne, and a third choice(gnocchi?). I have asked for a combo of fettucine and lasagne and they were happy to do it for us. BTW, the calamari is very good too.:earsboy:

Have to ask what Lesley did...is the napkin waving, singing, etc., done on a regular basis? We were only there once and it was very quiet. We did go for dinner, but there was only one singer, who sang well but the songs were on the softer side. No napkin waving or singing wait staff. We are thinking of going back on our next trip; I would definitely go back if I knew the singing and waving would be done! IMO that would make for a fun evening!

Not sure if it is done on a regular basis or not, but we were there the week of July 15th, (sorry cannot remember the exact day), our reservations were for 7:15p.m. I would say we were there for about 1 1/2 hours. While we were there, there was a gentleman strolling through the restaraunt playing an accordian. When he would play a faster song the waitstaff would get everybody either clapping along or waving their napkins around in the air. At one point all the servers gathered together , holding the Italian flag and sang the Italian anthem. We had such a great time!!!! I would suggest asking someone in the country or if you call to make an ADR if they would know if this is done regulary or maybe just certain times of the evening.

If Alfredo's offers "authentic" Italian food, then I don't care for Italian food. My lasagna tasted very much like a frozen Stouffer's meal. BLAND! Give this girl some spice and lots of it! Pour on the garlic, too! :teeth:
