Has anyone been there lately? We are thinking of doing the silver plan and using this restaurants as one of our wishes. The menu looks great , but how good is it? Thanks!

They have decent food, but I didn't think it was any better than our neighborhood Macaroni Grill.

:earsboy:

We were very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant when we ate there in February. The desserts alone were worth it.

It is expensive, so that alone might be a good reason to try it on the silver plan

We ate there in Dec '03 and loved it. Ate there again in August and it was mediocre at best. Our server was really pretty awful and the food wasn't close to what we would have at home in the North End in Boston!! We love the atmosphere there but the rest is just so-so!!!

We ate there in July and loved it!! We had the dessert sampler, which was awesome, especially the tiramusu. I also had the trio sampler dinner with Fettucine, lasagna and gnocchi. It was by far the best Fettucine Alfredo I had ever had--very rich so the small portion in the sampler was the perfect size. My husband had the salmon and loved it. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and we had a great server. Definitely better than Macaroni Grill all around.

We eat there every time we go on the Silver plan, it used to be only one wish until this year.
Everytime we have gone when they heard we were on the silver plan they really go all out with a ton of food!

We had one small table for 2 but so much food they had to move another small table over for us....lol

They made us a special appetizer with antipasto and calamari, I had the fettuccine Alfredo and I really wanted to try the gorgonzola gnocchi and they brought a side dish of it for me(which was awesome).

My mom had the special of the day which was Lamb and she loved it, also they added shrimp to her entree.

We each had the dessert sampler and coffee's, it was only for lunch and our bill for the two of us was 200.00!!

They really "do it up" for people on the silver plan, I think you will love it!

Yes it is so!

We looked it up this year and it is listed as 2 wishes (I guess they caught onto the 200.00 lunches)

We are still going to go for dinner and just have a counter service lunch to save up our wishes.

;)

Was only one wish when we were there in 2003. :(

It is 2 wishes starting this year, we were sad to see this as well.

(2) Lunch (participating restaurants) or dinner at a selected signature table-service Restaurant: Alfredo's, Artist Point Dining, Bistro de Paris, California Grill, Citricos Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Flying Fish Cafe, Fulton's Crab House, Jiko – The Cooking Place, Narcoossee's Restaurant, Portobello Yacht Club, Wolfgang Pucks and Yachtsman Steakhouse

We love it. The pasta trio, the calamari...everything we had was delicious.

Is there any way that you can go even though it is a 2 wish?
Or are all your wishes already put aside for certain things?

Like I said, we will just eat counter service lunch and then use this as a nice dinner.

We could eat there using 2 wishes, but out of all the 2 wish restaurants, would you chose this one? Our kids are on wishes too, but I could just pay for their meals in cash, and use their wishes for us to eat there. What do you all think?:chat:

My family LOVES Alfredo's. When people compare it to Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill I cringe.

However, we always order the Fettuchini Alfredo! Normally when people complain about this place they have ordered other items.
Hands down the best Fettuchini Alfredo I have ever had in my life including the locally owned place here where people wait for hours to get in and eat!

I too am saaaad that it is a two wish place. I'm thinking about just getting a VKL voucher and using that ... saving my wishes for other things.

If I used my wishes I'd have the kids share with us and just pay for thier drinks.

I def reccomend the pasta trio, it was more than enough food for two people! I ended up having a strawberry mousse lady bug for dessert...AMAZING!!!

Also when my family used to go on a "plan" we would be able 3 times a day anywhere and rack up any old bill we liked. This was many many years ago, it's a shame they switched the system!

anyone ever shared here? I am trying to watch it and would prefer to share with my husband. And the $$savings would be great to. I don't want to be made to feel under pressure to order more food... thanks!

There are so many better restuarants to choose from. Mama Melroses in MGM has far better Italian.

The food at Alfredo's is passable, the service lackluster. It's not even on my long list, let alone the short one these days.

You will get differing opinions on this place that is for sure, but this is my mom's absolutly favorite place to eat, this is always on her must do list.

The first time we went there on the Silver plan where they had to pull over a seperate table cause of all the food, you should have seen her face when she saw all the food, it was priceless...just seeing her eyes light up when they treated us like 2 Queens was awesome!

I have always had wonderful experiences and service here.

I think paying for your kids to eat and using their wishes would be a great idea.

We are also trying Narcoosee's this year for a 2 wish restaurant.

We have done Coral Reef and Fultons for our 2 wishes and we love Fultons the best out of those two.
