So now I am finally getting to writing my PJ! (yay!) First off, I will have to say that everyone here is just amazing and has really helped me get going about planning. Deciding to do a wedding in Disney was a very difficult process for me because of my indecisiveness and there not being a plethora of information about them anywhere else. I had always thought a Disney wedding was something out of reach for us, and when my DF first suggested it, I laughed at him. Coming here was probably the best thing I've ever done because reading more and more I was realizing that it was actually going to be a possibility.

We got engaged May 15th 2008 in POFQ after dating for 5 years. The first two years I kept it a secret though because I was still in high school and my dad was REALLY strict about me and boys, so I first introduced him to my family after I graduated, plus he's 5 years older than me to boot! I had never been to Disneyworld, so he took me there on our first vaca together and we were both hooked.

Anyways on with the show...so we first decided to do an Intimate package with an AHR but then a lot of people from our families protested because they wanted to see the ceremony in Florida and then we upgraded to Wishes. Before we knew it, our guest list ballooned to over 100 guests (we are expecting between 60-85 guests though) so we knew that we couldn't go overboard with the extras.

We had our planning session on 12/18/08 where we met with Diane and it was a tough three hours because we really had to sacrifice on the "niceties" in order to be able to afford our huge guest count. No coach, no portrait session, dessert party etc, but I am determined everything will turn out great. We are having our ceremony at the WP and the reception at LSS. Really simple decor, three floating candle pillar centerpieces and mickey confetti, and a small unity arrangement at the WP. Originally my BM's dresses were going to be red, but after choosing LSS we decided on a dark blue to kind of keep the theme. I don't know how we did it, but we got the estimated BEO and I have managed to get 100 guests at 21,000 and my floral only being about 2,000. Crazyness!!!! Although we didn't plan for a rehearsal dinner or any other fun things, we are DVC members and we used our points to put up 20 people of our immediate family and bridal party for the week we are there and have planned a grand gathering experience for our nearest and dearest.

Well, thats about all I have so far, I still need to do other fun stuff like the dress, invitations and etc, but I am SO EXCITED!!! I feel like now the hard part is over and this is really happening!!! I still can't believe it!
